Advice For A Newbie
Ok, I am new to the hobby lifestyle. Sure, i've visited various mp's throughout the years, but not to the extent of an ECCIE member. I have reached out to a few girls and they all seem to need a couple of references. I certainly understand and appreciate why, but I have no idea how to obtain references when nobody is willing to take on newbies. I recently set up a P411 account and my application is pending approval. I travel frequently for work and I spend the majority of my time in Texas, Arizona, Missouri, Oklahoma, California, New Mexico in addition to various other places.
Any advice as to how I can spend some quality time with a quality provider in any of the above states would be greatly appreciated. I'm headed to Tulsa next week if any reviewed providers are willing to give a friendly, newbie a shot, please PM me.

robust44,
Just keep checking with newbie friendly providers. Also verify with them if they are reference friendly or you'll just be spinning your wheels. Good references will come in time. Luv the Yoda phrase

Thanks for the input. I am assuming there's no thread or forum for newbie friendly providers, correct?

I hope you don't mind me putting this question in your post, but I was wondering about something. I'm a newbie too. I've only seen on provider. I'm curious to know what providers want to know about a potential client. Is it just to make sure the client isn't dangerous/abusive or a jerk or won't try to rip them off, or do they also want to know how you look and how you perform? Just curious.
Incidentally, I sent a text message to the provider I saw asking if it was okay to give her name and phone number to another provider as a reference, and she replied back that I didn't need to ask, to just do it. I wasn't sure about the etiquette of asking a provider to be a reference. I guess there isn't any.

There are a few ways used with common sense to stay safe and have fun and build a decent rep. Do your home work .All the info is at your finger tips. Be very very nice to the gal,s . Ask the A.S.P that you do see if she would permit you to write a review and if you could use her as a positive referral . Always and i cant stress enough always look at the hobby just as that a hobby . Be safe and never ever ever ever drink the water in a motel 6 !!

Everybody was once a reference-less newbie. I'd suggest you contact the lady whose name is in my signature line. She's the first provider I ever saw, and if I lived a little closer, she might still be the only provider I'd ever seen. A real woman, knows what she's doing, and is very good at putting you at ease. Since you don't have references, she's obviously going to need some real-world screening information. I told her everything except my blood type (no, wait, I told her that, too, although she didn't want to know). Totally trustworthy with your data.

The Austin board has a frequently updated sticky of newbie-friendly providers.
You might want to see if the other local boards have one in the towns you visit.

Listen to what has been said here. You can always post in the ISO/Co-Ed Discussion forum and ask for any newbie friendly girls to PM you about a possible date. There are plenty of newbie friendly girls out there to work with. Getting those first 2 to provide you a reference are always the most difficult.
As for asking a girl to be a reference, never assume she will be willing to give you a reference. Always ask. Some girls do not want to be bothered with other providers calling them. It is always appropriate to politely ask.

I'm "semi" newbie friendly. My screening is a little intensive and has scared off some people before. No one will post what we ladies normally require because then it just gives unsafe gentlemen the the chance to doctor up the required info. We ask all the info from newbies because we are making sure we have a good chance of returning home with the agreed fee, no bruises/broken bones, and our lives.
As for references, how detailed the reference is depends on the girl. Generally we won't say anything if someone is bad in bed but some will let someone know if they are in for a great time. Girls also ask for physical descriptions from other providers to make sure that a hobbyist's handle wasn't hijacked and the person they are about to see is the same person the provider giving the reference saw herself.
Unless the provider specifically states "use me as a reference" or is known for being reference friendly then make sure you clear it with her first.
