I read that, too, Chica. That is the stupidest statement by a politician I have ever heard. He knows nothing about business. He must not be allowed a second term. This is stupider than Sheila Jackson Lee wondering if the Mars Rover would visit the location where the Apollo astronauts landed.

Many Libs are small/medium business owners. I wonder how they feel about this statement?
Its like a giant "Fuck You" from the President to a huge segment of the population, no matter what side of the political coin you are on.
I'm sure someone will be along to defend him on this however.

The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together.
not defending Obie, but didnt I read somewhere "No man is an island"
that said, an individual that creates a successful business if not from the startup, somewhere along the line takes advantages of the opportunities provided by others.

No one person business will ever grow past one persons abilities.
Help IS needed to facilitate growth past one persons capabilities.

Help is needed, but that's not what the government is talking about. They want more control, and think because they built roads, etc. they should have more control over business.

I think what he might have been getting at is that government is not all bad, it affords you freedom and roads and safety. Those things are done by the population as a whole. Now if Obama comes out and says it is easy to run any type of business , be it small med or large then I'd tell him to go fuck himself!
