Default time for both candidates to drop out ?

Another major newspaper is calling for a presidential candidate to leave the race, but it’s not President Joe Biden.

“The debate about the debate is misplaced. The only person who should withdraw from the race is (Donald) Trump,” the Philadelphia Inquirer’s editorial board wrote Saturday.

And another major newspaper:

“Lost in the hand wringing was Donald Trump’s usual bombastic litany of lies, hyperbole, bigotry, ignorance, and fear mongering. His performance demonstrated once again that he is a danger to democracy and unfit for office,” the editorial board wrote.

“Trump told more than 30 lies during the debate to go with the more than 30,000 mistruths told during his four years as president. He dodged the CNN moderators’ questions, took no responsibility for his actions, and blamed others, mainly Biden, for everything that is wrong in the world.”

That rag of a Newspaper couldn't accurately name one. Biden should be tossed to the curb he's useless. After that hideous debate anyone who would vote for Biden is crazy.

Look at this facial expression. So self satisfied.
Trump is probably the luckiest presidential candidate ever to have been able to run against 2
very weak Democrats.

Well maybe it's high time the Democrats found some quality Candidates. Yeah, Trump might be lucky, his first time around he wins the Presidency but how much luck do you really need when you're running against total fucking idiots. I think it's time Democrats stop complaining about Trump and focus on themselves a little bit.

We need a new election law that allows voting for "None of the Above" that if wins, disqualifies the others.

It is definitely time for Biden to drop out IMO, but Trump shouldn't considering his pending criminal cases. If Biden stays in the race, Trump is guaranteed to be reelected IMO. Yeah, DJT is a habitual liar. He has always been one so nothing news breaking there. But damn, at least the fat old man baby is lucid unlike Biden.

If the Democratic party is dumb enough to let Biden and his ego continue as their candidate and cannot convince him to step down, they will have four years to contemplate how stupid of a decision that was. They shouldn't be supporting Biden and making excuses for his pitiful performance like they are now. Instead, they need to send his ass back to Delaware regardless of how bad it looks. That is just my opinion.

I realize I should ask the mods if this is appropriate to say in the Political forum or if it should cause it to be moved to the Another Realm thread, but:
Du-u-u-u-de! You're so HOT right now

But the OP title/subject is that both should drop out, yet only advocates for one in particular. Why is that?

Part of the reason Trump is leading the Republican party is the lawfare Democrats wage against all Republicans. They know the American people hate their policies, so they attack character and create a double standard to judge politicians, which destroys the county.

The only reason anyone is calling for both candidates to drop out is because their guy is a dementia ridden old man that can't remember what day it is.

I know more than a few people who are now voting GOP (including Trump), just because of this double-standard. If the Dems just stayed to the center, let Trump and the MAGA movement yell into a void (and didn't give them talking points with all this lawfare), and didn't rock the boat for another decade, the GOP would become a regional party. The national elections that count would be contested between Wall-Street Dems and Justice Dems, as things like the Electoral College would be abolished and ranked choice elections could become more widespread.
