It seems there were many new ads recently, some tgtbt. Tempting but its best to folllow your instincts and be cautious. I was probably not alone in thinking this was about to happen. Wonder how many providers/clients were busted.

I'm fairly new to the hobby, but in my opinion sites like this make it a safer environment for everyone involved...... The more info we all have, the better!

The comments under the article are interesting. I would vote for the guy that points out the hypocrisy of LE pursuing those in the hobby. He sounds like Master Dennis, rest his soul.

Yes, I noticed many ads stating 2 girls for the price of 1, or much lower prices for extra hot girls. I had to wonder, what is going on? I've also noticed that the LE ads tend to leave out the faces more or have no pictures at all.

Prostitution Sting Nets 37 In JOCO
From Kansas City. com http://www.kansascity.com/
http://www.kansascity.com/2010/05/07...k=omni_popular
we find the following:
Capt. Bill Hisle of the Shawnee Police Department said 10 of the arrests were made in Shawnee. Other arrests were made in Overland Park and Merriam.
Such a widespread sting involving multiple arrests is unusual for Johnson County. Hisle said the effort started with a complaint from people at an apartment complex that prostitution was going on there. After arrests in that case, Overland Park, Merriam and Shawnee police decided to set up the sting.
Hisle said ads for prostitution appear in The Pitch that direct potential clients to web sites where meetings are arranged. So, police decided to set up their own ads and web sites for the sting. When a man showed up to meet “the prostitute” he was arrested for soliciting a prostitute. Ads placed by “prostitutes” were answered by undercover police, and the women were arrested when they arrived at a designated rendezvous.

I don't know if she (the Friday booking) was connected to this particular "sting" directly . . . word was that everyone (girls and boys) all just got municipal citations.
Your tax dollars at work!
As Handsome D said - "They got to eat, just not at my table."
I could tell a lot of stories about JoCo that would make you shake your head in wonder . . . like the time Dennis had a girl in a JoCo hotel and wanted to know if LE was on to her - so he called LE on himself to see how long their response time would be, to that exact hotel - and then she used it for three months afterward becasue LE thought she'd never go back since they knew she was a Plaza lady . . . that was in OP . . . amazing.
Kisses,
- Jackie

There are always risks associated no matter where you see a girl. However, a wise hobbiest would never see a provider in Johnson County, Kansas. In JOCO, they have numerous smaller citites that each have their own police force. JOCO also happens to be one of the weathliest and most prosperous in the country.
Low crime rate = time on their hands
Wealthy = lots of resources
Uppity stuck up attitude = tough on "crime"
To borrow a quote from dirty dog in another post...
"Sure you can get caught in MO too but its like this. If you walk across a field and you all of a sudden get blown up by a land mine, its not your fault. But if you walk across a field that its litered with dead bodies and a sign that says landmines and you get blown up, fuck you deserved it."
Well said.

Remember: Both the Democrats and the Republicans wish to take your rights as citizens away. The police are corrupt, and enforce laws which run contrary to liberty. Only a person with low ethics would want to have a negative influence on others' lives (i.e. jail, tickets, etc.) for acts in which there is no victim and which oppress liberty. There are no good cops. Notice how the "good" cops never intervene when the bad cops run amok. At least the psychopathic police didn't kill anyone...this time. Honestly, who gives a fuck if a man pays a woman for sex? Seriously!? Wake up people! This goes for many other laws too. Fine some college kid to death for not wearing a seatbelt? Why? Stupid laws that authoritarians are all to happy to enforce. Hell, the psychopathic cops hope to shoot American citizens. I say this as a man who has worn a uniform in a military capacity. I never treated Iraqis the way that our cops treat us at random stops. I was much more respectful.
Ron Paul 2012. Just sayin'...
edit: I was in the Army Reserve, and the most screwed up people I had served with were cops back in the states. My platoon sergeant, for instance, was a state trooper who ended up getting brig time and a demotion from E-7 to E-1 for being such a corrupt bastard (he narrowly avoided rape charges, among other things).

This country looks a lot more like China or the old Eastern Bloc everyday. We have very few rights anymore. I was written a ticket for not wearing a seat belt several weeks ago. The JoCo police have nothing better to do than set up speeding traps all over town to bilk working people out of precious dollars to further fund their Police State. Sex is legal, and selling is legal. What am I missing? Our bodies are not our property.
The truth is our bodies are property of the Federal Gov't., and we don't have the freedom to do what we choose with them. You can thank the Femenist and Progressive movements that started in the Early 1900s for this aggressive prosecution of 'the world's oldest profession' which is still legal in the vast majority of countries across the world.

I believe the rabbithole goes deeper than that. For instance, every day I believe more strongly that our economic situation at present is by design. I truly believe that we as American citizens are being sold out. Our leaders and our laws do not represent the will of the people. It's not that the cops are necessarily bad (although, to want to enforce our current laws is a sign of guilt), but that the sheer number of assinine laws make them dark enforcers, rather than peacekeepers. When I was a child I used to look up to the police as heroes. I grew older, and while I don't participate in any criminal acts other than the hobby, and have never been arrested for anything (yet), I have seen the type of people cops tend to be. I have no respect for them, unless they can learn to uphold the Constitution as they had sworn to do. If there were ever an uprising to restore our nation, who would likely side with the government? While soldiers certainly would, I believe that more soldiers would defect to the side of the people than any cops who would. It takes an authoritarian personality to want to be a cop. They care nothing about you, me, or liberty. They just want to shoot people and continue their power trip. When police lights flash behind you, do you feel safe? I don't.
Ignorance is strength. War is peace. All has been forseen. Double plus good.
