So, they had a plan to block this Commie whack job in 2016. It worked, they got away with it. But Hillary was a horrible candidate. Why would the DNC allow Bernie to run as a Democrat again? He’s not a Democrat. Neither is AOC. They’re Democratic Socialists. And they will destroy the Democrat Party. It’s happening before our eyes. The DNC is in a lose/lose situation. Bloomberg is this year’s bailout plan. He might be a worse candidate than Hillary if that’s possible.
If the DNC robs Bernie again, all hell will break loose. And the establishment Democrats thought Trump was their biggest threat. He isn’t. It’s Sanders, AOC and their ilk. They will bring the party down. I think that was their plan all along. Interesting times.
That’s good, you made a post that you didn’t mangle the English language or spelling. “ A man has to know his limitations”. That’s a quote from your favorite actor, Clint “Wastwood”!!!!!!!
As I have stated in other threads, if the Democrats nominate Bernie, the 75% of the electorate that still has some sanity will say “no way”.
If they nominate anybody else, the “Bernie Babies”;who represent a fair chunk of the Democratic voting block, will feel they got screwed again and stay home.

Isn’t identity politics great.
Here’s my thought Jackie, the establishment on both sides are so out of touch it’s pathetic. Trump is a disrupter. The Rhinos in their arrogance, thought they would squash him. And the establishment Democrats jumped on board. So three years of bullshit investigations and impeachment, he’s still there and doing great things. From a conservative perspective. But Trump didn’t destroy the Republican Party. He made it stronger. Bernie will destroy the Democrats as we know them.

up to 50% of the Bernie Bros voted for Trump depending on who's numbers you see. as a vote against Clinton for fucking over Bernie? works for me.

don't forgot his protege AOC. they have already split the party. this is of course the worst case scenario for the DNC. they know their only chance was a untied base behind one candidate and they aren't going to get it. Bernie may be trending as the front runner now but let's see how the rest of the country feels about it before anointing him the savior against Evil Lord Trump.

I wonder if that was their plan to steal democrat voters over to the democratic socialist party. this would undoubtedly split and marginalize the democratic party.
fyi, I think it took 3 election cycles to eliminate the whig party. just saying.

Did Lindsey Graham Say Republicans Would Get ‘Destroyed’ If They Nominated Donald Trump?
While most Republicans fell in line before the 2016 election, Lindsey Graham — along with fellow senators Mike Lee, Ben Sasse, John McCain, and Rob Portman — was a high-profile NeverTrumper on Election Day. “My party has gone batshit crazy,” Graham said in a February 2016 speech about Trump. Graham told Fox News that Trump is “a kook. I think he’s crazy. I think he’s unfit to be president.”
But sometime after the election, Graham became a neo-Trumper. “You know what concerns me about the American press is this endless, endless attempt to label the president some kind of kook,” Graham said in November 2017. “I intend to support him in 2020 without equivocation,” Graham tells me now.

In July 2015, when Graham was still a 2016 Republican presidential candidate, Graham called Donald Trump, a fellow Republican presidential candidate, a "jackass", in relation to Trump saying that Graham's friend, Senator John McCain, was "not a war hero." Trump then reacted by calling Graham an "idiot" and revealing Graham's personal cellphone number at a campaign rally, asking people to call Graham.[58]
BAHHAHAAAAA
In December 2015, Trump, the leading presidential candidate, called for a ban preventing Muslims from entering the United States. Graham, who had very little support as a presidential candidate, responded: "He's a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot ... He doesn't represent my [Republican] party ... I don't think he has a clue about anything ... He is empowering radical Islam ... You know how you make America great again? Tell Donald Trump to go to hell." Graham additionally said: "I'd rather lose without Donald Trump than try to win with him."[59]
