In the public sector, the unions protect them from being fired. As a result, to get rid of somebody that isnt worth a shit, they promote them. The reality is that it is not that they cant do the work it is that they want to reinvent the wheel and never get the least acceptable amount done. Of course most do not get the least acceptable amount done but they tend to not be assholes. It is the incompetent assholes that get promoted.
Those that want pro9motions attempt to do less and less and become more of an asshole so they will have an opportunity to be promoted. They are nevver promoted within their department but moved to a different department to fuck up something else.

This very much sounds like how Obama has gone through life.

I think you're absolutely right. Obama has certainly failed at making America stronger or more prosperous. But you can't judge him by that, because that's not what he's trying to do. By his standards, and the standards of the left, he has been enormously successful. Obama is trying to fundamentally transform the country into a socialist system. The first step is to destroy the existing system and then replace it.

It's hard to imagine that just about all the evils of man would be crammed into one thread.

1. Jealousy

3. Mocking

Now that they think they have discredited the man, they proceed to mock him so as to appear to those whose intellect is even lower than theirs that they feel sorry for all his defects. They laugh at each others lame jokes because who else will?
