Default What do you think abut using bitcoin?

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with using or accepting bitcoin for the hobby? If you havent then how do you feel about it? This is directed at hobbiest and providers.

Ive been wanting a way to accept money from credit card and this seems the best way.

Overall, there isn't really much regulation or any from the Federal Reserve to guarantee the value is Bitcoins. What or who organized it and are setting the rules. In the short term, it also may be difficult to find someone that has access. The exchange rate is about one Bitcoin = $6200 USD. You may have to expand your menu a tad. A friend and I talked about Bitcoins about 3 years ago, but we never knew who the depositeurs were.

Sounds complicated

There has to be something more user friendly.

No offense but you dont seem to know what your talking about in the slightest or your not explaining yourself very well.

Like what do you mean by needing to expand my services? I hardly need a lesson about what bitcoin is or how to use it. I have friends who mine and trade it.

Im simply asking how hobbiests would feel about being able to use that as a means of payment. It would keep the hobbiest credit card info completly private while allowing them to purchase their bitcoin with a credit card they then transfer the bitcoin to me.

Also the fact that it has NOTHING to do with the Federal Reserve is just another selling point for me. Bit coin has steadily appreciated in value since it was created while the US dollar has depreciated in value. The us dollar will become obsolete at some point as the rothchilds and the federal reserve are taking steps to put that into action. U see they prefer credit cards and money they can keep track of to cash floating around.

Cash is also riskier to carry as well.

I appreciate your attempt to answer my question but i would of just appreciated it if you just answered the question rather than use it as an opportunity to school me on a topic u arent qualified to school me on.

So, lets try again. Since taking credit cards from hobbiests who like many americans live off their credit cards is out of the question, how about just buying some bitcoin with your credit card and pay me with that?

Its actually more convienant than visiting an ATM bc you can do it on your phone. U can even convert gift cards into bitcoin. So u can use an itunes or Amazon gift card to buy pussy now.

Of course good ol cash is fine even though it poses a security risk to me but Im trying to offer an option for hobbiests to make it more convienant.

Its the only way i can think of that will allow me to accept credit card payments that protects me and the hobiest. U know credit card companies charge a way higher interest to get cash on your credit card. A hobbiest can easily use a credit card to buy bitcoin and avoid that charge plus it would cost me $$ to accept the credit card and have to have a merchant acct etc.

You have to have bitcoin to post on bp. Credit card processing companies dont like being associated with our line of work.

Maybe some people understand bitcoins, but I ain't one of 'em. I also had a helluva time understanding Enron's 10-K's in the late 90s; the damn thing didn't make a lick of sense to me. Which is why I didn't invest in Enron then and will not fuck with bitcoins now.

At a minimum, don't require your clients use Bitcoin. Make it optional. No damn way Ima see a provider who requires bitcoin. Same with credit cards.

Why not just get a merchant account and call it Excellence Enterprises? Your discount rates will trend along with how much of a pain in the ass you are to deal with to your Merchant Provider. If you have a good relationship with your clients, you should have no issues. If you dupe your clients, trust me, your Merchant Provider will quickly make you wish you hadn't, once those chargebacks start to hit and your discount rates go through the roof...

I've had one Merchant Provider for 10 years, and we're both crazy about each other. I trust em more than I trust my favorite hooker...

Cash is king.

This idea of going to a cashless society just plain baffles me.
Why would you want to have all of your transactions electronically rerecorded and tracked especially when the government has access to you accounts.

The argument that they cannot track Bitcoin means you do not believe that the government does not have access to your digital footprint. Ask Mr. Snowden about that.

No way. Not sure about your analysis of dollar valuation but anyway I am interested in the fewest traceable transactions possible. Girl gets cash - I get pussy. One untraceable event . No reason to change.

Ha! Thats EXACTLY why I wouldnt want to use a merchant account! I do not trust a single guy to not try and get free service at my expense. People are and can be shitty by nature. I mean you just said yourself that a chargeback for service would imply that i deserved that and thats not how this buisness works. U play u pay!

I have had a guy pay me with a BAD vanilla VISA and Ive had Cash on hand stolen from me as well and that has nothing to do with bad service.

Also if i have a merchant account I think Im supposed to ID and have reciepts etc and thats way too much for any hobbiest to deal with.

But yes I will make bitcoin hopefully an option in the upcomming months.

I dont need it as much as a provider but im looking into possibly starting an agency. Last thing i need is a house full of girls n a bunch if cash laying around so im exploring alternative payment options.
