War Machine Assaults Porn Star
I sometimes wonder what sort of couples would form the most volatile mix?
Those steroid-injected guys who enter into steel cages intent on beating each other brains out always struck me as savages best given a wide berth.
. . . But now what happens when you get one of these unstable guys mixed up with a porn star and then throw in a explosive amount of jealousy into the already dangerous mix?

Emotional Management
Well, I was hoping that someone would be able to discern a pattern between this story and the recent death of Robin Williams, but folks are either asleep at the wheel or else just don't care.
In both cases, the problem was that the individuals could not effectively manage their emotions and the blind rage or despair of the emotions drove them to do something that was totally self-destructive to any rational observer.
. . . This mental health problem is a major affliction in today's society, but many people think it is normal simply because it is so prevalent.

Real Problem
Well, yes, but that was not the real problem.
I actually feel sorry for these people who cannot even recognize the problem much less work on the solution.
You see the problem flaring up everywhere you go. People losing their tempers over trivial matters and letting their emotions rule them and destroying their lives as a consequence of their actions. So what does society do? We lock them up where these hapless people congregate with others of the same type and learn to be better criminals.
. . . There are no mandatory emotional management classes and as a grim result society just builds more prisons while the real problem festers.

Distillation of Life
Well, some of us eventually learn how to distill our own actions and learn from our mistakes. Painful lessons that are hard fought become forever indelible in our minds.
There is always a lesson to learn from our mistakes, but the lesson is usually cleverly disguised and our own unsettled emotions make them even more murky to discern.
The reason I feel sorry for some people is that they are not equipped or maybe not disposed to drill down into the mistakes of their lives and extract the lesson hidden therein.
The fighter in this story thought the problems in his life were because "he was cursed" and unable to see that he was the cause of his own problems. People always find it easier to blame others and cannot see the enemy within.
. . . Other misguided souls merely bitch about things without ever contributing anything of value to society.

I think it's not a stretch to say that anyone who engages in combat for a living just might have some unresolved anger issues. I Googled this whole story when it first came out. This was an unbelievable unhealthy relationship. In some interview he was asked about what he would do about his "Mack" tattoo if he broke up with her, and he said he would just have to kill her if that ever happened. She added that she would probably deserve it if it came to that. Talk about enabling someone.

What I don't get is War Machine went to her place to supposedly "propose" and found her in bed with another guy.
Hey, she's a porn actress. What did he expect?
