Private Messages question

Can you send and receive Private Messages without having Premium Access?
I thought you could before the shutdown. I lost my Premium Access during the hiatus. Just wondering if anyone could shed a little light on this. Or send me a PM to show me I’m wrong.

You should be able to; on the old site Private Messaging wasn't a PA only perk. There were severe limitations on the size of your PM mailbox, but without PA you should be able to send/receive PMs.

Getting Premium Access (or an Upgraded Female Account) increases the size of your PM mailbox. But all members can send PMs, unless their mailbox is full.
