Obama Fiddles; Merkel and Sarkozy Lead
Obama was recently handed (by the Tea Party) an opportunity to move to the middle of American politics, but he just could overcome his Leninist tendencies.....he fought against the Cut, Cap and Balance legislation offered up by the House of Representatives, and previously in Bowles-Simpson...Obama and the Democrats don't want a balanced budget; they want to spend, spend, spend; an ever-expanding government, more debt, more dependencey......it is Obama's socialists wet dream !
But European leaders Merkel and Sarkozy know that runaway government debts are dangerous and are now moving to adopt their own "balanced budget" requirements for all euro-zone countries !!!

Whirly, I see that it is another slow news day. It must be agonizing for you!
BTW, have you decided upon your final defect date to the land of Sarkozy?
Be sure to drop us a line occasionally! (But not too often, you would not want to wear out your welcome.)

Going no where BigTex; my family roots were here long before your sorry forebears snuck across the border...and will be here long after the BigTex clan erodes to dust from in-breeding.

My family has been here importing cheap labor, such as you, since 1623. We made available a way for you to become a citizen, something you deny the current cheap labor.
Your family will end with a simper because as you have discovered by now, praying the gay away doesn't work. And gay life partners don't reproduce.
Like the real Whirlaway, you had some good times but mostly average times.
So do not go gentle into that good night. Just go.

Someone makes a point that perhaps President Obama could learn from other leaders, and gets responses such as "Leave the country" or simply "Die." I think I see how this is going. Have fun.

An interesting take on
Obama was recently handed (by the Tea Party) an opportunity to move to the middle of American politics, By whirly's version of the middle but he just could overcome his Leninist tendencies.....he fought against the Cut, Cap and Balance legislation offered up by the House of Representatives, and previously in Bowles-Simpson...Obama and the Democrats don't want a balanced budget; they want to spend, spend, spend; an ever-expanding government, more debt, more dependencey......it is Obama's socialists wet dream !If you don't know what issues reasonable people have with this post or most of his posts, you need to read. But wait, you did read the post you characterized as "Someone makes a point that perhaps President Obama could learn from other leaders" with no mention of the BS from him. I know how this is going.
Please feel free to post whatever and whenever you want. I’m sure we’ll have lots to talk about.

Whirly, for the record, I am a native Texan and have lived here my entire life. However, there is one notable exception, I spent four years (1969-1973) in the US Army! Are you going to deny me Texas bragging rights because I spent 4 years in Ft. Benning, Bragg, Alaska, Panama and the Central Highlands? I should hope not! Airborne!
My parents did not sneak across the border but in fact legally settled here after my Dad and Mom left Oklahoma immediately following WW II. I suspect you might be able make a factual claim that my "forebears snuck across the (Oklahoma) border" during The Trail of Tears. Does it make you feel better about yourself to "lump" my "sorry forebears" in the "snuck across the border" category?
I am sorry to disappoint you but I am probably as native of an American as one can possibly be! At the very least, as much of an American as your "sorry" ol' smelly, condescending ass!

Of course I was being condescending to you idiot !.....it is fair return to your own remarks...so for you to try to play that card is a joke !
Rather than disagree/engage with me on the facts of my thread; your dimwit goes to the low hanging fruit of "when ya leaving the country?"
What is funny is your compulsion to explain your family migration patterns as some lame attempt to justify your pathetic comments. And your family history is a boring read. I noted that you didn't dispute the in-breeding statement ( ).
Do your Okie ancestors proud and debate the facts, don't succumb to stupid school yard retorts.

Pardon me, I forgot to include crotchety in your description. I will try to be more thorough next time!
Please give us advance notice prior to your permanent relocation to Sarkozyland. I will personally throw you a going away party!
Adios Mofo!

With low approval ratings, Europe's leaders, Merkel and Sarkozy, knowing that Europe is moving to the right, propose balanced budget requirements for the eurozone. Like Obama, Sarkozy is up for re-election in 2012. He (and Merkel) know that moving away from europe's Socialist's policies are what the electorate wants.
At home, Obama continues to ignore the growing demand for a smaller federal government living within it's means.

Republican leadership is ignoring the vast majority who want the Bush tax cuts to go away. The house balanced budget bill won’t fly with the simple majority for tax cuts and a super majority to repeal them. Keeping those provisions in the bill while claiming democrats don’t want a balanced budget is a lie only republicans believe.
