Strip club question
I have never been to a strip club but am wanting to try it out. I have read a few things about them.
I guess one of my main questions is am I obligated to do anything besides ordering a few drinks for myself.
I get the concept of a lap dance but since i am clothed I don't think it would be worth it.
How does the whole concept of getting extras work, I mean I just can't ask for a bbbj. Then I read prices are negotiable. Is there a set time for those extras?
Anything you can help me with would be appreciated, any suggestions on one being better than the other? I would prefer all nude but am open
Thanks

Go to the Dallas Strip Club Forum and read the sticky at the top of the page on "Getting Extras". Then read a bunch of reviews in that forum. Should tell you all you need to know.
And no, you're not obligated to do anything (except that some places have a minimum number of drinks you must buy), but if you don't you're missing most of the point. Use the search function in that forum to look for the "uniform", that should give you some clues on how to enjoy dances.

To add to what billw1032 is saying, you are not obligated to spend your money on anything or anyone at a strip club, I have seen many guys come into the multiple clubs I go to and sit at a table, buy themselves drinks, check out the views and maybe tip a dollar on stage. But, if you frequent the club on a regular basis, you will be labeled by at least by the dancers that you are cheap, or some other form of the word! If you go there just to drink, there are plenty of other places to go where the drinks are considerably less expensive.

If you want a bbbj go to a provider. If you want to flirt and like "the hunt" an SC can be fun, but don't count on extras. As has been sId, read the sticky in SC forum.

Great advice above. See Bill's post. Enjoying strip clubs is somewhat of an art form. On these boards you'll find many gents who are artists. They've made a career out of studying and working the clubs. In my early years, I was one of them. As time goes along, you get tired of the game and the hustle and the watered down drinks.
Essentially, you go in and find a table you'd enjoy with a good view of the stage. Day shifts will sometimes get you more attention. At night, when the club is more crowded, you'll be left alone more often. Depends on what you want. Sometimes a hostess will meet you and escort you to a table. Tip them and the wait staff nicely--it pays off.
It's customary to watch a few rounds of dancing (dancers usually work one or more stages during their rotation then come down and work the room) before getting a dance. You must remember, these girls are there to separate you from your money. That's not always bad but be wise. Every dollar means something. These MTV videos where rappers are just throwing wads of money at strippers are ridiculous. Every dancer on a stage appreciates a tip. Ones are still customary but its not wrong to use two or three or even a five. Just approach the stage and she'll come over, dance for you a little, then open her g-string. You can insert the money and return to your table.
After you do this enough, they'll determine you're there to play and they'll probably approach the table and offer to join you. If they do, it's customary to buy them a drink. The waitresses will be by constantly to offer refills. It's all on your tab. (BTW, don't ever open a credit tab. Always cash on the spot is the best bet). Dancer drinks are marked up to a premium so be prepared to pay. It's usually cheaper to get a dance and send them away than to buy very many drinks for them. On a slow day, some of them will invite their friends to the table with them. You'll, of course, look miserly and unmannered if you don't offer drinks for them as well. Get it? They are all attracted to money. That's the only reason. They aren't bored and looking for someone to hang out with. They aren't being benevolent because you look lonely. If they were bored, they'd be at the bar talking with their friend the bartender. They are on the floor to make money.
After sitting for awhile, they may ask you if you'd 'like a dance?' If you agree, they may do it on the spot or take you to a more remote area. If they suspect you will buy more than one, they'll take you somewhere else most likely. Dances are one song only and usually around $20 per. As far as extras, let them take the lead. If they offer something (after they've judged that you have money) it's up to you to judge the risk. She'll usually guide it from there. Sometimes, women will offer to meet you outside the club, we call it OTC. Veteran SCer's can sniff this out and negotiate it anywhere. I've seen them do it and it's a real wonder to watch. For you, until you get your club legs, I'd recommend you be careful with this. These ladies can spot rookies and relieve you of alot of cash. After you become a familiar face in the club, OTC will find you.
Once everything is done, she'll usually leave you alone (again, because you're now out of money) and return to the dancing rotation. You can either go back to your table or leave.
Strip clubs are nearly universal is their approach. Beautiful women entertain you. That's a fact. But it's not a poor man's game. The more overpriced drinks you consume, the more overpriced dances you'll buy. I've spent $20 and I've spent $500. In the end, I enjoy time with a provider more. Over the years I've developed my preferences and I absolutely love doing it. I still enjoy the clubs and have a favorite where I go--always day shift. There I always enjoy myself and feel like I've gotten my monies worth.
Let me commend you on coming here to ask questions. An uneducated club customer is a sitting duck. Ask anything you want here. These guys are pros--especially the Dallas and Houston guys--and the you'll be able to tell which ones know the game. We don't mind helping at all. Just ask.
All the best.
