Hi I’m visiting from Austin and would love to go country dancing here in San Antonio. I’m staying by the Riverwalk. Does anyone have any good suggestions on places to go?

Hey babe weds night Cooter Browns is pretty good, Thurs thirsty horse gets good as well & Cowboys dance hall. Ohhh & wild west.
Doll if ur downtown & dont want to travel too far try *on the rocks pub, its right by Pat o's. Also southtown101 has great music.
Then on St. Marys street theres a new country spot called the lonesome rose & that whole street is filled with local bars with all kinds of music.

Cowboys is gonna be a YOUNG crowd(18-25).... thirsty horse has been my go to for over 8yrs. Its a good crowd on Thursday(can be light depending on whos playing) Cooter browns is a sausagefest Thursday/Friday and Saturday feels like couples night. Distance wise Thirsty horse is closest, Cowboys is next, Cooters is in helotes so its a drive.
