Default Software to spy on my OWN computer?

i have a new laptop running Windows 7. Other people have access to my laptop and use it for various things. I don't mind. However, one of my email accounts was hacked and I think it may be someone I know using my laptop. The story is complicated, so I will spare you the details. i just want to know if anyone can recommend software that I can install on my OWN computer to see what webpages someone is visiting and if they are logging into I my accounts. I'd like to see what they are accessing and be able to log keystrokes. Obviously, I would want something that isn't easily detectable. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

You asked for input-
- if someone using a joint laptop hacked your email, you need to tighten your tech security;
- set up a generic User account that has very limited freedom on the laptop. let others use that account;
- look into the Parental Controls of W7. They might give you what you want;
- buy an low-price laptop for use by others.

If you use the laptop in question for the Hobby and let others use it, you have a weakness right there.

Do what was listed above. Go to majorgeeks and they can walk you thru the security software.

There are a number of "accountability" software packages out there that, one installed, simply record everything the computer does. On a predetermined schedule, it emails the report to your accountability partner, in this case, you. Pretty straightforward stuff. Maybe less than $10 per month.

All of them are buggy and present particular trouble when you travel and stay in hotels. None of them play very well with in-house intranet-internet systems.

Try SSPRO you can get it at download.com and can be setup without being seen unless the person really knows a lot.

The best that I have found is called spector pro. I have it installed on all the company computers. You can set it to monitor every little detail, or just general use . It will tell you who is in your account

I have used Spector pro for both company business and personal use and found it to be one of the best. Good luck

Make sure you know the applicable laws regarding the use of such software in your area and don't end up like the guy in MI who was brought up on felony charges.
