Security, yours and mine
This is a question for the ladies more than the men. However, you guys can chime in. Recently, I attempted to set up a meeting with a provider who is a member on this site. I assumed that because she was a member and I was a member, the the ability to verify each other should be easier. Evidently not! She requested info as to who I was with. Is she not able to see my reviews? I know the ROS is supposed to be hidden, but what can the ladies see? Can she see our postings? I would assume that because I can see enough information to get a sense about her, I'm assuming that she can also get enough information on this site to see about me. She also asked for verification of work. Because she is a verified and very well reviewed provider, I shared but most likely will not do this again.
Now, I am very aware and sensitive to you ladies needing to feel safe. I live in a region of the country where a number of girls were found in the Mesa. Nobody cared because they were " Known to be drug users and prostitutes". So, let me clearly state that I support and get it! What I am requesting is this. What do you do to insure my safety?
When using a shotgun, I have a better chance to hitting my target, however, I also have a greater chance of hitting something i didn't want to hit! Like LE. For my safety, I tend to be selective, look for verified providers, don't play that often, and then erase all links once I'd done. I choose to not play using many sites. I was tempted to try RB, but now I'm glad i didn't. That's why I choose to use this site and only this site. If that means I limit my opportunities, I can live with that. If a provider is not comfortable with that, we're good. I'll just move on with no hard feelings. This is how I try to protect myself.
Now, I'm asking, what do you do to protect your guests? Do you keep stored your meetings? How safe is your data that you keep and share with other providers? You want and deserve to to expect me information to insure your confidentially and safety. What do you do to insure ours?

A few points to ponder:
1. Your review history is not the same as a reference. Your review is YOUR perspective on your experience. Her perspective may be entirely different. I chuckled once when two posts showed up within minutes of each other. The first was an alert posted by the provider warning ladies to avoid a bad client. The second was a review by that client in which he stated "Yes! Hell yes!!" on whether he would recommend the provider. Clearly he had a terrific time, but her experience was much less so.
A provider is foolish to look at a review history and equate it with references from those providers.
2. You asked what assurance you have that your safety is protected? You answered that yourself. If she is highly reviewed and respected, then she has worked hard to build a solid reputation. She would be a fool to jeopardize that reputation just to cause you harm.
3. Lastly, you might consider paying for membership in P411 to make verification easier.

Thanks for the reply. Sinsoftheflesh. The fact that she can see that I have done reviews (forget the quality of the review), tells her that I have reviewed. Can a provider see who I reviewed which then gives her the ability to inquire from her? Can the provider also see links to comments potential guests makes on this site? Those can shed light to the character of the guy.
However, I do tend to go towards ladies who have a longer running history because I can have more confidence with them. But if God forbid, you got caught and LE started going through your information, will that information put others in jeopardy? It would be great if we all had a few "special friends" that we played with. However, many have many "special friends" and each one can link us to each other's.
As for P411, please no offense to that site but we all know of sites where the participants felt they were safe but it turned out they wern't. I'm just saying putting it out on one site (for me it is here for now), is safer than putting it out on two. Thank you for your response, I learned something I didn't know! Play well and safe.

Herm, No one gives a crap who any of us are, signing up to a SHMB is not a vehicle of screening.

With the very recent history in NM particularly, its pretty foolish to be giving real-word and work info to any ladies. You're much safer giving P411 your info initially than to random providers. No one needs to give up real-world info, and if a provider requires that...move on to another quickly, one that doesn't.
You have no idea what someone might do with that info you give them. Sure they say they delete it, but recent history has proven that false.

First, I support a provider's right to ask for any information they feel they need to be safe. However, I also have the right to refuse to provide it and not see them. There were a couple traveling ladies passing through that I thought were interesting. Checked their Web page in accordance with the ad instructions, saw a fee of $400 and $500/hr.. still wasn't chased away. Saw their rule that it didn't matter what checking/verification service we used, all potential clients had to supply a "real name and work phone", entered into her Web page and recorded. That's her right. Just as it is my right to refuse and find another.. which I had no problem doing. In fact I got a wicked doubles session for that same money. I guess it works for them.. since they are still traveling.

Yep.
I'm getting a lot of the same info from the guys. Ladies, your a part of this also. On this site, if a requestor asks to see you, do you look at the information from this site as a indicatation of verification? I mentioned that I delete everything as best I can to insure my safety. What do you do? If you cot busted, God forbid, do you keep links to every encounter you've had?
Ladies?

I don't question a ladies methods of screening, but I will not patronize a provider who asks for my personal information to include employment verification. I think that is some of the worst screening out there. I've NEVER willingly given a provider any personal information about myself, and I never will unless she is willing to give me her personal information. Safety and PRIVACY is a 2 way street and not the exclusive domain of the providers.

It is a process but there are ways to help protect the gentlemen. For one, not carrying or transporting the information gained. Frequent email wipes. Not keeping passwords saved in ones laptop or computer. Making sure the computer's main password is complicated. Not putting the information in her phone.
These particular steps are wonderful in protecting the gentleman but do have their drawbacks. This can mean having to be screened more than once. The lady not remembering your name or phone number "Hi this is john remember me?" well without information easily found let's just say there are a lot of johns out there.
Other steps taken by many ladies is spread out incall uses. Yes if your favored lady has a home for an incall that is more risky than the lady who changes hotels regularly. Consider being her neighbor. Too many eyes and too much regularity.
Being sure to maintain a discreet appearance. Easier said than done. When choosing our adornments we have to manage to be both pleasing to the eye, prettier than the girl next door AND avoid unnecessary attention. This can mean anything from a bag of toys that to the onlooker is just a laptop case of briefcase, to a sexy black dress hidden under a bulky jacket with fake (or real) glasses.
These all may seem like small things but they take a lot of effort and a lot of time and thought. Whether we are coming to you or you to us there are many steps taken for your benefit both security wise and of course personal wise.
LE is far more interested in capturing the girls believe it or not. Girls can lead to Pimps or agencies. The ladies lead to bigger fish or even the ability to get and give false references.
Understand the chances of something going wrong on the ladies side is far more likely. If a gentleman goes to the police and says an escort attacked him it is taken quite seriously. If a beaten raped and upset escort goes to the police and says a client attacked her she is often treated as if she was the aggressor.
There are many accounts of serial killers that are infamous that have gone on "prostitute" killing spree's. Only one real infamous account of a serial killer that was harming her patrons.
Not to sound misogynistic but take away all weapons and clothing consider the type of women in question. If a man was to become aggressive few would be able to defend themselves.
Though we as ladies do our best to account for your safety we also need to account for our own. There are many stories where ladies have found aggressive clients and without help from legal sources or the ability to protect themselves end up seeking out less desirable protection. such as a pimp.
Anyway just my thoughts on the subject.

I've been a member of P411 for several years and keep my okays updated. It is the only source I use when acquiring a provider. If this is not good enough then I move on to the next provider.
I use this site for information and may entertain readers with a few fantasy reviews. I never try use my reviews as a source of verification. The best part about this site is that you get a chance to meet new friends from different parts of the country. And then I check to see if they have a P411 account for future meetings when I travel, or entice them to come to my town. I never had a provider ask for more than my P411 okays.

EXACTLY!!!!! Especially on assuming he is safe just because he has reviews. A review can be faked and a provider can beg to have it removed but it wont be...unless the reviewer asks...and that would mean admitting its fake! Plus a review just means he MAY not be LE (unless his acct has been turned over).. doesnt tell you if he is an abusive bastard with balls that stink like 3 day old roadkill.... ijs.

Jaycee,
Always gives spot on and well thought out advice. I agree with what she has said. What we do is against the law,and there will always be risks. Our job is to mitigate the risks. That falls more on the providers than the gents. Obviously, you know how to select a classy, smart lady. There are a lot of technical options out there to protect our data.
The number 1 thing that I can do to guarantee both of our safety though, is to SHUT UP if ever found in an ambiguous situation. I commit to you that I will NEVER cooperate with LE, and I expect the same in return. I have never been arrested or been to jail, but I know that if even placed in that situation, I would take MY punishment, and move on.
