A simple choice for Obama
The House has passed another spending bill that contains a requirement that Obamacare be delayed for a period of one year. So now Obama and the Senate democrats have a choice;
1. Vote the House bill down or veto it if it makes it to the White House and shut down the government.
2. Accept the actions of the House, fund the government for the time being, and allow the representatives of the the majority of the American people (the GOP House members) to have input on the Obamacare bill.
Shutting down the government is the choice of the White House and Obama and nobody else. As some here have tried to say, parts of Obamacare were proposed by the GOP 30 years ago. Why did Obama cut them out this time? The majority of the House is GOP and they represent the majority of the voters who had no voice when Obamacare passed. It is only right to have everyone involved now even if that results in the repeal of Obamacare for something else that may actually work and not be corrupt.
If the government does shut down, it will be the executive branch who decides who gets paid and who doesn't. Obama will have to man up for maybe the first time.

Wasn't it Einstein who offered the following definition of insanity?
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
There you have it folks! if he were alive today, Einstein would think the Republicant Congress was made up of a bunch of lunatics!

The same thing can be said about socialism, and yet the libs still try, and fail.

Do you really want to rely on that argument?

Obama said he will deny all 57 states of their right to representation and will not negotiate with anybody unless they are from Iran.

Actually, the House basically had the same very simple choice of passing the bill that came back from the Senate, but chose to attempt political brinksmanship instead.

This is exactly the way it is supposed to work. only they should have been doing this three months ago, before there was a deadline. Both the dems and repubs are guilty, equally.

@chefnerd; the Constitution stipulates that all spending bills origninate in the House so they are the default. They send out a bill for the Senate to vote for or not, the Senate did not so they sent back the bill to the House with their suggestions. They are not binding on the House. The House is separate by equal to the Senate. Get used to it. The Constitution is in play and Obama and Reid are committing personal fouls. All the caterwauling from the left will not change that.

Oh, and all those votes did not have the same outcome everytime. Another democrat gets pulled in every few times when they read the polls from back home.

Incorrect JD, it specifies that all REVENUE bills must originate in the House. Article I, section 7, paragraph 1.
All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

Didn't Obama say he was going to delay enforcing parts of the bill for another year? He's already admitted its flawed.
Are there any providers on the board who would like give their opinion on Obamacare? For years there's been an abundance of providers who needed insurance and were unable to obtain it. Now here's an opportunity but I've haven't seen any of them speak out in favor of it. Curious.
