Here is my suggestion to make America great again!!:
Take the nation which has the 69th largest economy according to the United Nations, and has a history of corruption in its government, along with low educational standards and low achievers, and allow them to flood the country with their poor and unskilled who can't even succeed in their crappy country.
Take about 10 million of them, and don't waste the money to screen them for health/diseases, insist on taking only the ones who break the laws on entering the country, and promise them at least half will get assistance from the taxpayers of the United States. The ones that do work will get paid under the table and not have all their taxes taken out, and will get to send their surplus back home to their families who are also soon to be invited under the same conditions.
The only other requirement is that 3/4th's of them are overweight.
Restrict voting to only those with skin in the game. Our forefathers shouted for representation because of taxation. The reverse is true, if you don't REALLY pay taxes (that means your contribution has to be more than what you receive back) then you don't vote. That would take care of illegals voting (and not because they're illegal or hispanic), and the poor (not because they're minorities [even if most poor are white]) and even a few big time businessmen like Warren Buffet or Bill Gates would be taken off the rolls. Exemptions would be made for every active duty person in uniform and the elderly on Social Security would also be exempt as would many disabled people.
We could pare this down to about 60 million people who are tired of watching their paychecks being sent overseas or going to some fly by night green energy company. Of course millionaire communists like Rosie O'Donnell, Michael Moore, and Ben and Jerry would still get to vote.

I agree with you completely. You shouldn't have universal suffrage. The only people voting should meet the criteria you have stated, and have earned the vote. Perhaps people with a purple heart should get to vote twice!
