But yeah, to get things back on topic... It is amazing how over the past 8 years all the crazies have boiled up to the surface. They don't even try to hide it now.
Everyone here has that one crazy friend or cousin. They have it in them to end up in jail, on the news, or on a milk carton, if they haven't already. They are kept in line (or not) by their reasonable support group of friends or family.
But what's happened now is, the crazy behavior is getting put online and being reinforced. 15 years ago you didn't have politicians insulting others and lying left and right. One controversy and your career is ruined. But now all the insanity is just being enforced by the people on the TV and it is a vicious cycle that feeds in to itself
Granted, there is only one excuse for someone acting like a moron, regardless of if they support the left or right. They are a moron. That's it. If you send bomb threats to a restaurant, you're an asshole. If you wear pornographic shirts in a family setting, you're a fucking asshole. If you try to intimate people for a political reason, you're a fucking asshole.

WRONG!
Again.
The article was typical liberal trash, coming from a country that is jailing people for online posts that they see as criminal.
When I say Freedom of Speech is absolute I mean that, and most importantly is political free Speech.
Once you begin to censor, in this case the actions of one side, but not the other, it turns into a weapon, which is already the case in this country.
For example, you take Mike Tomlin to task for another shitty game, and you are called a racist, that action has gotten me points here, I'm sure because someone here complained, that shows that identity politics exist everywhere.
Or call the last shooter who was trans mentally ill, oh no you don't, verboten.
It's bad enough we are forced to accept completely assanine behavior on one side, but to go down the road of criminalizing the other side for saying what they believe?
Put on sunglasses in North Korea or criticize it's leader, both carry the same penalty, death.
