Money
In terms of credit cards, only a handful of top escort agencies will accept them for payment. A cell phone, or mobile as its referred to in Europe, is almost a requirement if you plan to play, as a lot of communication on the day you meet a lady will be through text and/or phone call. You will need to determine before you leave the States whether your phone is international-capable. If so, check on rate plans for international use and arrange for activation. If your rates are exorbitant, you may want to check into possibly renting or purchasing a pre-paid mobile phone after you arrive.
Accommodations
I have not stayed in a hotel yet in the UK that requires a card-key for elevator or hotel access. If you plan on staying for an extended time in one of the major cities, you may want to check into corporate apartment rentals as they will save you money both on accommodation and food.
For ladies who would like to do incalls, a piece of advice would be to select a hotel that is near a city's major rail station. For London, I have read that many ladies from other parts of England will stay in a hotel near Paddington Station when they tour in London. Other major London train stations are Kings Cross, Victoria and Waterloo.
Getting Around
England, like most of Europe, has one of the most extensive rail networks in the world. And London itself has one of the most famous rail systems, normally referred to as The Underground or The Tube (

For the Ladies Who Wish to Tour in England -- Agency or Independent?
My sense is that the same factors a companion would consider in the States would also apply here as to whether make a go of it as an independent or via an agency. In my opinion, based on the lower market rates in other parts of England, the only scenario where I believe you can earn a reasonable return through an agency is to get linked with a high-end service in London. One thing you will need to understand with some of these upscale agencies is that they get semi-frequent calls for groups of companions to be sent to parties. (Especially from Russian and Middle Eastern visitors!) So if you are not comfortable with the group dynamic, you may need to discuss upfront with the agency.

Factor in that unemployment is at similar levels in the UK as it is in the States and that this has increased the number of available escorts. You will still have a distinct advantage in being a hot American chick, but understand these other factors may impact your ability to command top dollar.
If you still would like to combine a European holiday with some business time, I would recommend France, Italy and Germany as destinations where the average rate is higher not only based on the marketplace, but also because all of these countries are on the Euro, which has been a much stronger currency than the Pound.
