A Question About All These Obama Legitamacy Lawsuits

I recently read there are at least five "viable" lawsuits pending where President Obama is actively fighting (with a team of lawyers that trumps the OJ Dream Team) requests of proof of his actual citizenship credentials. One apparently has to do with his application to Occidental which included a Fulbright Grant where he allegedly claimed to be Indonesian, and few others where they are questioning his birth certificate as signed by a physian indicating actual birthdate, place, size and weight.

I really don't care either way, and thing there are bigger weaknesses to attack if you wanted to question his presidency, but i am very curious about one thing:

Are the taxpayers paying for these civil defenses in any way, shape, or form?

If so, these wingnuts that keeping filing suits need to stop, not because I like Obama, but because I don't want to waste anymore money (that we don't have) on this silly issue.
