The Hobby and the New Administration

The in-coming Biden administration will be even more liberal than the Obama administration. There is no guessing on that. Just listen to what they say.

The list of liberal . . . strongly liberal, . . . names that will probably be active in the cabinet and elsewhere is impressive.

My question is: Will they strongly support the legitimization of any aspect of /the Hobby? Things like the SD/SB world could be easy to do. The European and Canadien models would be another step.

With Bernie Sanders as Sec. Labor, will studios become authorized, letit brothels?

One thing that bothers me is that the age of majority will probably be dropped to 16 for voting. I am uncomfortable with the thought that this may have some impact on the Hobby.

I don't think its a legit quote-- since she's one of the people that brought down BP.

She'll have to wait until after the inauguration. In the meantime I am researching her effort to draft and pass a bill in the Senate to do so. Do VPs have the EO authority?

As I said.. that was a "quote" from some of the far right people in my circle. I don't find it to have any legitimacy.

No, a VP has no authority constitutionally except to break ties in the Senate. The president can appoint the VP to projects that come with certain powers. Traditionally, the VP has been head of NASA going back to Kennedy and Johnson. So unless Biden, if he wins, appoints a human trafficking taskforce (because that is the way it's been framed) and comes out in favor of human trafficking Harris has no power to do anything. This is a state issue anyways, looking to the federal government is a fools quest.

This is Kamala's exact quote.

"And um I take it very seriously but we should not be criminalizing women who are engaged in consensual um opportunities for employment. But we should definitely be careful and be sure that they are not being trafficked or abused in any way."

So of course the far right just extrapolates that Kamala will legalize prostitution. It sounds better in their narrative.

Legalizing prostitution and weed while decriminalizing cocaine would keep some prison population down and increase tax revenues. Only problem here is we need to get immigration under control. Keep building the wall!
