So any guesses who wrote the Trump memo published in the NY Times? I have a pretty good idea..
Wasn't it kind of dumb? Like better to just stfu and do your job and protect the country. I think we're all better off with some adults in the room when Trump starts fiddling with the launch codes over a grudge, wouldn't you agree..

I don't agree...there is a LOT more to having a grudge and fiddling with the launch codes...there is a long tightly guarded security sequence before anything is LAUNCHED...do a little research about the history of close calls in regard to nuclear war...please tell me you have a little deeper intellect then that

At first, I thought it was James Mattis because of the use of "first principles" (a term he has used in multiple articles) and because the writing exhibited discipline and precision. But I don't think he would put himself at risk by writing it even though I suspect that he agrees with much of it. My money is on a deputy or an assistant secretary of defense or state...

actually the launch codes was just a hyperbolic example. my point was that i'm glad to know that there are adults in the room. but why set Trump off by releasing this memo? sometimes, you gotta know when to stfu, imo.
