The natural gas game is going as good as ever, and while she may say she is against fracking to appease some of the liberals on the left, - there's no way to escape the need for natural gas domestically, and that's the best way to get it out. That's not going to change anytime soon, and the truth of the matter is we produce more gas and oil now than we did 4 years ago! There are more open leases than there were 4 years ago. It's not even a debate as to the reality of the situation versus the talking points.

Sadly it seems as though conservative and liberal news organizations keep sowing boloney to divide the masses

There are 3 drill rigs doing their thing 24/7 here near me and have been for almost 11 months. Multiple well legs and sites. Parades of trucks, sand and pump trucks about every 3 months. Mostly APEX drill sites.

I'm actually not sure on the power plant side, where they are importing coal from, whether it be local from Indiana luzerne, or if they're bringing it over from the other side of the state, or from West Virginia, but I know for a fact that a lot of the fossil plants are still burning a shit ton of that, versus updating to natural gas turbines.

What's interesting is it doesn't take a lot to update a power plant to a turbine, but it would take a shit ton of effort to downgrade it from a turbine to a coal fire plant. Coal processing is very labor intensive, with lots of machinery to pulverize and dry coal before it goes into the plant. Actually really interesting process, but none of those plants are going away anytime soon, and most of the ones that are coming online are going to either be fossil, wind or solar plants to help offset power needs. Kamala knows ya need power plants and oil....and gas.

Agree on fracking. We need to have green solutions in place before we move away entirely from fossil fuels. Opposing fracking without having a plan B (or in actuality, a plan A) is just silly and Harris isn't doing that. But fact of the matter is, depending on fossil fuels is depending on borrowed time. Eventually, lights are going to shut off and the well runs dry. We need to plan for that, ideally, before the lights shut off and the well is dry. We aren't at the point where green or grey energy are robust and wide spread enough to abandon gas, so we need to continue to mine for gas until then. We shouldn't ignore green energy. But gas coal and oil are stepping stones which we need to start planning to leave behind for greener alternatives soon.
