Abbot'ss is a sentimental favorite for custard. Here in Syracuse, Gannon's makes the best ice cream.

Abbott's frozen custard is great as I sit here with a bowl of perrys not the one I like the best. I miss buckman's in rochester. And even carvell's(spelling), what ever happen to that place. Thay had small shops all over rochester. looking in phone book Read's has tangerine ice mmmmmm that sounds good.

Well that was fast I'm done with the perry's. I like, ahh I can not think of the name starts with a "B".

Dos any one(other than at home) make real mike shakes any more.
mike shake: milk and ice cream a bit of vanilla or chocolate added.
shake: pancake mix added flavor and cold.

"Hey kids, just in time for Father's day it Fudgie the Whale!" Loved Carvel's commercials growing up. There used to be a dairy in Ontario (below the water tanks) that served Perry's ice cream. Blueberry Cheese cake was my favorite flavor.

I'm a simple man, vanilla was my favorite flavor. It is so easy to add pineapple, chocolate. or many other toppings, strawberrys from NY are in.

When I use to work for big blue. We had a icecream social two or three times in the summer, in the parking lot. Would call skippy's to have a ice cream truck show up. Skippy's ice cream trucks looks to be no longer also

I worked for skippy's one year. A box full of dryice and ice cream. Hint do not take a breath when you have head in box to get out ice cream bar to sell to a kid.

well i still make the shakes that have the ice cream and milk in em..i'll add some choco to the mix...the lil family i have created seems to lovem tooo!!!!!!! in fact they lovem soo much they chant when i makem.."your the best we love you...your the best we love you"!!!!!:-D

I am partial to any place that offers soft serve ice cream. In lieu of that I have to say Bruster's has great flavors. July is Black Raspberry month with fresh raspberrries mixed in. mmmmm
