Default Retrieving Data

My S8 Note screen cracked. I have since replaced it but I would like to retrieve all the data I can, from the old one. It is locked with a password. I can no longer see the screen all the time, to put in the password. It still takes a charge and powers up. So any help is appreciated.

Replace the screen, and then use the Samsung data transfer/backup apps.

Local mobile phone shops can easily do the repair, or DIY by getting a replacement screen from ebay or amazon and watching youtube videos. I do recommend buying one of the ifixit tool kits for this task.

Rocket Doc is correct.
Cheap screen replace was exactly what I did when a horse stepped on an old one of mine. After data transfer, old one was wiped and destroyed.
