Actually, it would be nice if ECCIE had a feature whereby one could block/ignore not only particular posters, but also particular longstanding threads that are worthless. The "Favorite Frazes Repository" and the "Nothing, Reply Anything You Want" threads would be prime candidates.

That feature does exist: it's accomplished by not clicking on/opening those threads!
