In his 3+ years in office, the one thing Trump could point to as as success is the economy, and in partiular the stock market. The GDP is nowhere near where Trump predicted it would be. The tax reform package helped all but primarily the rich, and inflated the deficit to unprecedented levels in good economic times. His renegotiated trade deals will have minor impact on the American economy. His tariffs are negatively impacting all of us. He has abolished environmental safety nets.
And now the stock market, which Trump took total credit for as it was surging upward, is almost back to where it was when he took office. And even Trump admitted yesterday that a recession is possible.
Trump has failed on healthcare. He has failed on immigration. He has failed on race relations. He has failed on foreign relations. And now the economy might fall into the failure category.
