If you had a thing for fucking couches, you wouldn't had brought it up to your family in the past, because it is weird. Trump has normalized the weirdness. Even if Trump goes away (hopefully they throw away the key), the foolishness that has been let out of Pandora's Box isn't going to go away with him.



There needs to be a big push for reeducation for every American going forward. Teach the public, teach the most vulnerable demographics (the elderly and young) on how to identify false news headlines and misinformation. Come down hard on 'news' organizations that knowingly push a false narrative. Make spreading misinformation and fake news an actual crime.

We need to go through a very painful, very costly process of de-Trumpification before we even return to a semblance of normalcy.



Like how Germany went through a process of de-Nazification, we need to pull the weeds out at the root and not just run the mower, otherwise it will come back in a few decades with the next, far more radicalized generation.

Sure, the uneducated, racist morons won't be going away (they're as American as apple pie). My point is trump will never be in power again. Thus, his political movement will have been a three-time loser and the GOP will finally snap back into reality. They aren't going to keep backing a losing loser who loses.
