I think it's safe to say Perry will not be the nominee. I wonder how many of the 38 who chose him over Obama would make the same choice today if they had a do-over. I'm guessing all 38 of them would stick with Perry even after his repeated campaign flubs.

Don't forget the same poll on 09-11-11 where the results were:

Perry 47
Obama 26
Other 16

Perry or no Perry, people don't care for Obama.

(By the way I haven't had a chance to say this anywhere else, but congrats on your comment to Yssup that caused him to surrender his board membership and leave.)

I did forget about that one. I suspect that if we ran another poll today with the same choices, Perry will have grown his lead. I can't decide if that says more about Obama or the voters.

I sometimes feel badly about that but hopefully it worked out for his own good. I dislike Rick Perry just as much as anyone but 'sup's yammering about Perry being gay, Perry hanging at strip clubs, etc. etc. etc. was an embarrassment to anyone on the left who cares about the real issues. His homophobic shit fights in the Spider Hole were an embarrassment to all mankind. He lost a battle of wits to Wyldeman. Think about that.

I dislike all homophobes whether they're left, right or center.

Its been said before and I will +1

I will vote for whoever is running against Obama.

So maybe the Socialist Democrats should pay less attention to the potential Republican candidate and worry about their candidate.

When asked who you support, that's a bullshit answer. Show some balls and tell us who you support.

Most Democrats I know are plenty worried about their own candidate. Do you think the people who are participating in OWS are pleased with Obama?

I prefer not to show you my balls. Socialist Demos seem overly anxious to look at other men's Balls.

That was the cowardly response I was expecting. Good luck with your anti-Socialist Demo platform.

I like Herman Cain, but I doubt that would happen. I like the ex Governor from NM, But I doubt that will happen as well. It is looking like Ron Paul may have a chance. Anyone that wants less Government control of our lives will have my vote. To me the elections are a joke these days and we really are not given a real choice... It is all just WWE Booth......IF you actually think the Dems and GOP are different you are a fool.

The parties themselves aren't so different but the individuals running for the highest office certainly have their differences.

Recent polls beg to differ. By candidate Obama leads Romney by 1.4 points, Gingrich by 8.5 points, Cain by 9.2, Perry by 9.1, Paul by 6, Bachmann by 14, Huntsman by 8.7, and the GOP average by 1.

It would appear that the only the thing people don't care for at the moment is the GOP.

Perry hands down over Obama. Actually, my vote is going to Newt.

just as a point of accuracy; Gingrich received a PHD in 1971

That's hardly the only thing people are unhappy with. OWS wouldn't be happening if people cared for the job Obama is doing.
