But nevermind, I see the ignorance (and bliss) I'm up against. Thanks for proving my point, though. You only believe scientists when you "feel" like they're telling the truth.

You have it all backwards. I'm the guy who follows the science. You're the one who lets "feelings" override it. You're Exhibit A in proving your own point about people who are too ignorant to accept science if/when it fails to confirm their pre-conceived "woke" conclusions.
Your assertion that "the entire scientific community was on the same page with regards to the pandemic" is jaw-dropping in its arrogance and falsity. Who is arrogant enough to presume to speak for the "entire scientific community"? Even Dr. Fauci isn't stupid enough to do that.
Covid-19 was a totally new virus about which we learned more & more as scientists studied it furiously after the genome sequence was released in Jan. 2020.
There were truckloads of disagreements within the scientific community about everything from masking to contagiousness to the efficacy of therapeutics versus vaccines versus natural immunity to whether the virus had a zoonotic versus a lab-leak origin. Did you somehow happen to miss all that?
Look up the Great Barrington Declaration if you need an example of how badly split the scientific community was with regards to the pandemic.
It's unfortunate that the left would choose to politicize a deadly virus that killed over 1 million Americans. But hey, that's what the left does. Never let a crisis go to waste. Always subordinate the scientific method to political expediency. It's sad that non-scientists like you are always ready to fall for it hook, line and sinker.
