still not enough evidence to warrant killing someone because of what they say or because they slapped you around ... Cops wont shoot you for talking shit to them or because you hit them in the face with your fist .. you have to show them a gun knife or SOMETHING that proves you are trying to KILL you first before they kill you ... Zimmer had other options IMO but he took the "No witness" road .... dead men cant testify against you

a neighbor Teach who was a witness .. who said under oath
However, Jonathan Good said he did not see anyone's head being slammed into the concrete sidewalk, which Zimmerman has said Martin did to him. Good initially testified that it appeared "there were strikes being thrown, punches being thrown," but during detailed questioning he said he saw only "downward" arm movements being made

When are you going to admit to your racism LL? That is half the battle....

An all black jury would convict Zim man just like this all white jury is going to.
Now once again, I have admitted to my racism. Now all we have to go is to get you to admit to yours! Oh wait, I forget, you are a latent racist.
Sad for you LL, you are not even half way there!

Reassuring, because now we can understand why we are all a little bit racist (and sexist, and ageist). And understanding is half the battle against it.

You are wrong if you are referring to the laws in Florida and most other states, but you don't have to believe me, just listen to the judges orders she will give to the jurors before deliberation. Now, if you are referring to your own morals, then carry on...

Don't think that is possible with the defense claiming self-defense. You can't be innocent of 2nd degree murder by reasoning of self-defense and not also be innocent of manslaughter by those same means?

Wow, no, do not try that! Verbally threaten a police officer and go for his gun and he will splatter your brains long before you get a punch in.

And you learned this law where?
And you learned this behavior of "Cops" where?
CJ .. there are actually people out there who will read this kind of shit and believe it.
Unfortunately, their last fleeting thought may be .... "But CJ said ....."
Let the fools like WTF boldly go where no sensible, intelligent person would go. Not you.

laws?
Zimmer returning from a personal errand spotted Martin in the neighborhood and called the cops reporting a suspicious person ... why did Zim even get out of the car?

The case will almost certainly include a pretrial hearing to determine whether the state’s Stand Your Ground law, which grants broad protections to people who claim to have killed in self-defense, applies; if the judge finds that Mr. Zimmerman acted appropriately, the case will end there. If the judge decides that the protections of the law do not apply, the case will go forward.
At trial, however, the question of self-defense can be brought up again and possibly will, said Robert Weisberg, a criminal law expert at Stanford Law School. That could lead to a fallback position for the jury — if allowed by the judge — of a lesser verdict of manslaughter should the jury decide that Mr. Zimmerman sincerely but unreasonably believed that he was appropriately using lethal force to defend himself, which is known as “imperfect self-defense.”
