CoG, I think you gave him a woody talking like that.
And to think that a thread titled Minimum Wage has gotten to 8 pages. This must really be a pet of the liberals. Who woulda thunk it.

RaggedyAndy, I was agreeing with you. What's the problem? I think the minimum wage should be $35 an hour. Wouldn't that be good for everyone? C'mon, I've turned over a new leaf. Government is good, we should all accept that government knows best, and anyone who questions what government does should be prosecuted for treason. Isn't that what you want?

I wonder if I should start a new thread entitled Maximum Wage and see the liberals stumble all over themselves on that one.
You know I think I will but first has anyone seen the 1st dog lately?

Did you know Mexico's middle class is growing and ours is shrinking?
If there was not such a huge demand by our druggies here in the States, Mexico wouldn't be half bad a place to live.

and whats the minimum wage in Mexico? Although the artificial raise of the minimum wage didn't cause the recession, it did contribute to the rise in unemployement. Employers would have to increase the pay rate for experienced staff if they hired new to the workforce, unskilled and uneducated primarily young workers. The young, primarily minority job seekers could not find that entry level employement that typically pays minimum wage, but leads to better paying jobs in the future.

I do not think that you can state unequivically that the increase in the minimum wage did not contribute to the recession. I am not saying that it specificaly did or that it was the only contributor but that nobody asks the questions or formulates the data to determine the potential results.
We do know that the unemployment rate for those that generally earn the minimum wage is at an all time high.
As far as Mexico goes, I have stated before that Obama has done more to stop illegal immigration since Jimmy Carter, all you got to do is kill the economy. But I cant lay the blame only at his feet he had the help of a Democratic party controlled house and senate to give him a head start.

You have over twice as many posts in this thread as anyone else. And you probably have about 80% of the word count, if we were to total that up.
Self awareness is clearly not a strong suit of conservatives.

Nah, co-sFb* - rational thought processes don't track your Beckian bipolar swings. See, you can't even come out of the dark into the light without dragging your TP'd-up, Fauxbred penchant for outrageous hyperbole right along behind you like a bag of um, er, ah! - manure.

So you are opposed to raising the minimum wage, then, RaggedyAndy? I thought you were for it.
