I hope Fields beats him out. Much higher upside at this point vs Wilson. But who knows. They both came cheap for a reason.

On another note, I’ve heard this rumor for a while but was just repeated to me from an ex NFL player (not from the Steelers). It involved Picketts wife and Zack Gentry. I’ll just let that sit there.

I favor Fields as well. If the Steelers stick with Wilson they’ll be back to Ben in his last years. Fields is having a great camp. He’s making plays that Wilson can’t. Time will tell. Word out of Philly is Kenny is slipping to third string.

I’ve fallen for the Aiyuk trade talk before so who knows. This seems to have more to it.
And one rumor is Highsmith is part of it. Getting my “I told you so” ready. Lol

Fields should be the future - no denying that, and I'm all for it. Just saying it's Russell's job to lose this year. Obviously, Fields has more in the tank.

Now the word is Steelers are out for Aiyuk and Browns and Pats still in.
I don’t know how these hack “journalists” keep their job.
My hunch is the agent leaks a deal is close to make the contenders nervous.
It probably works.
