It seems we have a war of Network News Channels. ABC seems to be baiting NBC, letting them go out on a limb with total condemnation of George Zimmerman then producing a picture such as this.

I would amagine the "special Prosecutor" is saying "what the fuck".

The arrest affidavit does not address any such photograph or the bleeding cuts apparent on Zimmerman’s head. Dershowitz now reveals to Breitbart News that if the prosecutors had access to the photo and didn’t mention it in the affidavit, that could present a “grave ethical violation,” since affidavits are required to spell out “all relevant information.”

Dershowitz added, “An affidavit that willfully misstates undisputed evidence known to the prosecution is not only unethical but borders on perjury because an affiant swears to tell not only the truth, but the whole truth, and suppressing an important part of the whole truth is a lie.

So Nifong has competition. But did Nifong has the US Attorney General and the President breathing down his neck?

This is after the trial judge had herself recused. No trial judge wants to be on this case. Its radioactive. If you are up for re-election, you're fucked.

The only hope these invested politicians have is to have the trial end date past early November.

So what's going to happen *IF* Obamacare gets shot down by the SCOTUS and Zimmerman walks?

I have a feeling that Zimmerman is being railroaded. The special prosecutor seems to have made up her mind to get Zimmerman whether he's guilty or not. If she deliberately left out evidence of Zimmerman's injuries from the affidavit she should be removed from the case and prosecuted for perjury.

No, he is in jail because he killed someone. I agree 2nd degree murder is a stretch, but whether it was manslaughter for example should be left to the jury. When a civilian shoots and kills someone and there is doubt--which there clearly is in this case--it would be inappropriate not to air the case in public. I hope the jury is a good diverse mix or whichever side "loses" will moan and complain for the next two decades it was because the jury was stacked.

Dershowitz is an unusual liberal. He actually makes sense on occation. I got a very bad feeling listening to the special prosecutor's remarks to the press when she announced the charges against Zimmerman. Right at the start she referred to talking to Trayvon's "sweet parents" and the "search for justice for Trayvon". If Trayvon was the agressor and Zimmerman was acting completely in self defence then there is no justice required for Trayvon. In that scenario, justice has already been accomplished. By saying that she's seeking "justice for Trayvon" she's telling us the fix is in.

That's the kind of words a prosecutor will frequently say, whether they believe it or not. Their job is to present the case for conviction and you don't start that by deamonizing the person who was killed. It's no different that a defense lawyer who does everything they can to make their client look loveable and misunderstood even if it's Hitler. Both sides will have the opportunity to stack the jury as best as they can--not that that is a good thing, but it's our system of justice.
