I know some TRUE curvy women but a lot of women abuse the term and use their ore pregnancy photos to entice a hobbyist to waste their time and drive out to see an M & M in a thong.

Maybe because there are multiple degrees of "fat" and guys who like women who are "kind of" fat might not like women who are "really" fat.
Would you prefer that instead of curvy we said "kind of fat"? We could change the whole scale that gimme_that suggested:
Curvy: kind of fat
Middle of curvy and thick: sort of fat
Voluptuous: more fat
Rubenesque: fat and tall
Curvy BBW: fat
Regular BBW: really fat
SSBBW: super fat
Do you do the same thing with other adjectives? Whether it is a jalapeno or a habanero, it's just plain "spicy". A Corvette or a Bugotti Super Sport are both "fast". You have someone with an IQ of 90 and someone with an IQ of 60, and both are "stupid"?
Bottom line, for me:
A curvy girl has a waist smaller than her hips
A BBW girl has a waist larger than her hips
If you want to call them both fat, that's fine. But I don't have a problem differentiating.

SL'S Guide to SIZE!
100 or less = Spinner
100-150 = Curvey
150-200 = Curvy with an attitude or small BBW
200-300 = BBW
300+ = Bring Safety Equipment, Lunch and a GPS!

I like your scale, SL, although it doesn't take into account height. A 5' 10" girl at 110 pounds would be fucking skeletal. and not what I would call curvy at all. Whereas a 5'0" girl at 140 pounds is pretty darned big.
But it works for you, so that's great. Personally, I'd put something between spinner and curvy ("athletic"? "average"?). But the point is moot because what matters is what the girls call themselves. And no girl is going to advertise herself as "fat" unless she is seeking a very specific audience.

Interesting thread. I am curious... What would you guys classify Beyonce or Kim Kardashian's body shape as?
I always thought curvy meant nice rounded out bottom, voluptuous sized breast that is proportioned to the body and defined hips?

Kim K or Beyonce are just good looking. If you have ever met them in person, the camera angles and wide lens zoom makes them look bigger than what they are. Kim is a small framed person with a great butt.. its not a ghetto booty as the like to say. As for Beyonce....she is from Houston and used to be seen all the time. She is not a short girl so rather long. Again, fit and in shape and not a chunk girl. Her butt in not that big either....but since she is a larger framed woman, often gets categorized as having that huge booty.

I'm BBW...
Curvy comes in all sizes. For example, Jennifer Love Hewitt is very thin but extremely curvy.
But on the flip side, there are women who call themselves BBW who are not. I think the difference you are attempting to decipher is between thick and BBW. I think it's safe to assume anyone over a size 20 is BBW.
I would also like to point to cultural differences. In my experience many white men are likely to think that women that are thick (big booty, wide hips, big thighs) are fat; even if they can wear a bikini and/or have a flat stomach.
With that being said, if you are asking for some kind of classification system that is universally accepted, you'll never find it.
