As for why Dany went on her Full Monty killing spree after the Bells rang, she figured it was a ploy to get her to drop her guard, even lead her into some kind of trap.

one thing occurs to me watching the last episode again .. the effectiveness of Drogon's dragonfire seems greatly exaggerated. against Euron's Iron fleet being wooden ships i can see that. but the stone buildings? No.

the dragonfire instantly destroyed stone. i'm not buying it. overdone.

it's funny how people are slamming this season in every way possible .. from a fucking coffee cup to .. everything. no wonder they wanted to get rid of this show.

the fault lies with Jamie. he was supposed make the call to ring the bell which was the signal for the civilians to leave the city.

All of Dany and Drogon's destruction was against military targets before she landed on the building top and waited for the bell. After the bell rang, Dany and Drogon decided to destroy everything.

Watched the producers talk about it in the aftershow, Danny went nuts. She wanted to destroy most everything. That's why Jon pulled back and Arya symbolically rode off on a white horse.

I was reading some of the Internet stuff about GOT, (hey, it's entertaining), and it dawned on me who one really big looser is after episode #5.

The Iron Bank. They definetally backed the wrong side. They loaned Cersie a shitload of gold to finance the entire defence of Kings Landing.

There ain't a lot of collateral left. The Iron Fleet is burned. Kings Landing is in ruins. The deptors are dead. That mercenary force, paid for with borrowed gold, Is burned or slaughtered.

Hillary, (oops, sorry, slip of the tongue), Cercie was NOT supposed to loose.

I'm sure Dany will honor the debt. She will let the bankers negotiate with Drogon.
