Lakewood Lamdung has a decent burger. Can’t say I’ve tried one with bacon.

Off site kitchen has good, but not great, burgers, though they are not particularly thick. I have not, nor will I like<y ever be having one with peanut butter or jelly, much less both.

Never had the burger at Montlake Cut, but the seafood is excellent, and given the quality of Nick Bodavinous’ other restaurants, I’d expect the burger to be excellent. Best Fish &Chips in town, though at MLC, great oysters, clam chowder, etc. Top notch restaurant in all respects.

Mixed-Up Burgers https://www.mixedupburgers.com/

Small place on the southeast corner of Brown and 360 (Grand Prairie/Arlington). It's in a small shopping center right behind the gas station and the Pawn Shop. Great Menu for some of the wildest burgers you could ever order. And here is the kicker --- whatever you order they grind it all up into the meat patty.

They have a hot dog called "The homewrecker" -half pound of black angus hot dog - then you can make it a "Dirty Homewrecker" by adding chili, cheese, grilled onions and some mixed-up seasoning.

Hamburgers? The "Tooter" with onion, jalapeno's, cayenne pepper, cheddar-jack cheese and topped with chili is awesome.

And you have never had a chicken burger like The Pedro - which is ground chicken mixed with bell peppers and red onions, topped with queso, salsa and avocado.

Their Onion Rings are AWESOME -- but don't get em "to go". I don't know why but they are excellent there, but awful when you take em home.

And they are open LATE - for a burger joint. 10:00 almost every night and I think 11:00 on weekends.

Tex and Go: you are making me want to venture out in this rain for a burger, fish and chips, oysters and clam chowder.

Kincades in Arlington Heights aka west Ft. Worth if they are still open. Been many moons since I've been on that side of town and yet it's only 4-7 miles from my Casa

Oh yeah, Kincades is still around.
I went to a new place last night, Rogers Roundhouse, its off University by the zoo. Excellent Wagu burger, and home made tater tots which are to die for..
I will be back...

I haven't tried it personally, but several friends have tried it at a place that I go frequently. The general report is that it is surprisingly good. The friends who have reported that have ordered it multiple times.

I wish that instead of making a highly processed vegan soy burger patty chock full of industrial grade chemicals...they just made a simple burger patty instead.

For example, take some dry oatmeal and boiled potato and mash them together. Add some seasoning and perhaps some minced onion and jalapeno peppers...voila, you have your vegan burger patty.

Brush it with your favorite cooking oil, grill it, and serve it on a bun with all your favorite fixings.

Yup!

First time I've heard or read about those Impossible Burgers months ago when BK first started selling them,

my immediate reaction was thinking it's full of artificial ingredients.

Yeah I fear the impossible burger is like chicken and waffles potato chips. Just chemicals tricking your brain.

I laugh when I see a menu with Wagyu or Kobe beef hamburgers lol. The real deal ( and it’s only real if it comes from those places ) will never be served here. They were selling Kobe beef burgers in NY during the mad cow scare. Zero Japanese beef imports at that time.

That is also correct too.

99% of the restaurants and stores here CLAIMING to sell Kobe and Wagyu are not selling the real thing.

They are just fooling the consumers.

Speaking of potato chips, they now have pizza flavor, chicken and dumplings flavor, fried green tomatoes flavor, buffalo wings flavors and several others.

At the rate they are going with these strange flavors,

I wouldn't be surprised if soon there will be a filet mignon flavor or a steak and lobster flavor or a seafood stew flavor.

If you really want to know, the ingredient list is here. I don't see anything that looks particularly alarming, but it's not my expertise.
