So the counselors concluded " he did not intend on committing either self-harm or harm to others," while his parents were there. Now we know why the parents did not feel the need to take him home.
Upon the parents' arrival, the school counselors asked the student "specific probing questions" about his potential for self-harm or harm toward others, Throne said. The answers he provided "led counselors to again conclude he did not intend on committing either self-harm or harm to others," according to the letter.

What are you even talking about?
I have not advocated for the school officials as being responsible. And...and nor have I suggested that the parents are responsible. Unlike many , including ug ou, I'd like to see more facts emerge.
But hey counselor if you're in the prediction business now like a few more data points before making my prediction. ....more power to you.

See what I mean?
You can assume anything you want about me. And I'll continue to assume you tried to get away with something so stupid you waste your time here bitching and moaning after being disbarred.

... YOU and E-9500 actually remind me of a good point.
Interesting that they ALL wanna absolve themselves
of blame by surely holding the parents at fault.
Odd thing, though... WHY is it when there's NO parents
involved - like when they let a bloke on parole from
prison - and he then kills his ex or girlfriend the
next day - the parole board or state barrister who
released the killer dont face any charges??
How fair is THAT?

WTFDoIKnow aka WTF hasn't researched it yet ...
IMO if more "parents" got arrested and convicted some of this school shit would stop.

If you think their arrest...it it safe to say you think they should be found guilty, not necessarily because they are but because it will stop gun violence in schools?
Is that your contention?
You want the parents to be held accountable on their ability to predict the future.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty. Ha!
Anyway. The evidence was there, in my opinion, to charge them with criminal negligence. Gonna listen again to the NPR "interview".

... Well, "criminal negligence" has to be "criminal" BEFORE the fact.
If they bought their son a gun - and it's legal for the son
to own a gun - then the ACT there is NOT criminal.
... They'll need MORE to find the parents guilty.

... I'm sure that the do have "more" with things, mate.
But I agree that the school conselours and what-not
ALSO may have made a mistake with the boy.
Can't just blame the parents here.
I think you and I are in good agreement on that.
