Correct. But Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was as well as a host of other al Qaeda guys killed or captured. KSM was generally regarded as the brains of the most devastating attacks and his capture is regarded as one of the major reasons there hasn't been a successful major attack on American soil.

LL, there was no attempt on my part in post #93 (of this thread) to criticize the Tora Bora operation. I merely claimed that I would have been "equally thrilled" had OBL been killed or captured at Tora Bora. Since you brought it up, I would have been just as thrilled had OBL been killed or captured at "Bora Bora" or even Timbuktu!

The actual place the grand event occurred is of little consequence. It's the end result that counts. The perpetrator of 9/11 "sleeps with the fishes!"

We should be able to agree on the end result!
