Wow. lets think about this. I should give you my real name in case you end up dead. The police then have a list of suspects but maybe not the killer. I don't want any part of a cop and DA looking for a conviction at any cost even if its the wrong person. A eyewitness says they saw a person leaving the scene and they pick you out of the lineup.


I can't think of one good reason to give out real world info. I'm willing to work with a provider but not real world info.


I though Indy's solved that problem with the vouch system.
We all want to be safe but this is risky business on both ends.

Screening is ridiculous. Most clients, just like providers are just going to lie anyways. Why are providers still asking, "are you affiliated with law enforcement?" Cops are allowed to lie! If a provider needs to know if I'm legit, look at my profile, read my reviews.

Then you have these providers that want references...Most providers in this "business" don't want to give up clients. Some providers get out of the business, move, get a new number. Hell, I quit hobbying for a few months. So, now I can't book because my I don't have recent posts? One reason I now go to trusted AMP's!

Still going on and on about this subject I see.

I'm bored so I'm going to just point out the major points this thread has made.

1. Anyone who wants to be comfortable with another person does some sort of screening.

2. Anyone who just wants a stop and pop doesn't feel the need to be comfortable with that person. Therefore they don't want to be screened.

3. Some of your more prolific posters and mongers can be screened with NO ( zero,nada,zippp ) personal information.

4. If you're not: willing/interested/sure that you want to be screened by a person move the fuck on and get some references from others.

5. There's a lot of ladies who don't screen but there are more who do in one form or another.

6. Not everyone who screens is using your information against you.
( Seriously, look at how badly the ones who do get thumped on the boards)

7. Some people just like to talk.

They also provide the recording of the arrest to the lawyer, it is evidence.

I'm not going to say everything I do because it varies from person to person.
I will say that I don't need much from the more prolific gentleman who is active online and is well known.
No one does.

References really do make a difference in the entire process.

And FYI
My methods are mine, I don't say everyone does as I do not do I say they should. My ways have worked fine for me and I won't be changing that.
