They are attacking your opinion . The only personal thing they are attacking about you is your writing. Objectively and honestly, I have to read it several times to see what you mean sometimes or what you meant to say. It is aggravating and people react to that. I am not condoning it. Do you guys ever STFU? I joined this sight to begin an adventure I've wanted to explore for years. It would seem, to the uninitiated, that some of you would rather flame a guy that's new here--whether about his writing prowess, his decision to lurk until he gets comfortable,or the confidence one may lack for any reason. I thoroughly enjoy the intelligence and writing skills shown by the hobbyists and providers alike. I'm gaining understanding from each of you. You have had this hobby to experience for years.
I am a newbie, it is what it is. I'm not trying to light up anybody, I just think, if I was in your shoes, and was still able to remember back when you had a few questions, you can probably remember yourself saying- "I wish there was book on this stuff"-" I don't want to get fried by writing a bad review"-" what are the boundaries"? Where are the yoda', the balanced speakers of truth? I Love this SH-T. Each of you, okay, well, some of you show great skills and some even weigh the amount of flashback you direct at some of the young'uns. I'm exploring the Hobby because I think it would be fun and I would have the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and maybe some good dudes too.
See, I don't even know if this is the right forum to make my perceptions known or who to ask to bless my even contributing to a thread. I just want to have some fun and gain so new friends. I don't know why UT picked that handle. May be he was messing with the Hook'em guy (well , the UT part courtesy of Htowner not his) . May be he didn't want to be called Just Another Old Guy. May be that was taken.
Handles reflect a perosonal choice and you are more than welcome to ask him and if he can't give you a good one then kick him in the nuts. Just don't post a video of it or anything.
