I'm back...
...Jesus H Christ, I'm gone for a week and you've dissolved into a bunch of animals.
OK... here's a few points you've all missed. - The woman (Ford) was stylized after Mary Daisy Dinkle for effect http://thisdistractedglobe.com/2010/11/25/mary-and-max/
- Think for just a second about the Supreme Court and the weird situation - DEMOCRATS are upset about a guy because he DRANK (and lied? not really but "stretched the truth a little in his favor" maybe) IDK about you - but the judges on the Supreme Court make decisions based on the current scope of society... Personally, I wish they'd get a few people on there who DID party to hard, did some recreationals, lied to the cops a few times when they got pulled over, were arrested for SOMETHING once, etc... because, if you're going to be making laws that are fair - do you really want the person who is deciding these to have NEVER had some shit in their past?
- He's been clean for 20? 30? years... Unless you're willing to admit "prison does no good", nobody is ever redeemed, and "once a ______ always a ______" (you name it), then what's the big deal? I was way more of an asshole at 17 than I am now (and, some of you will kindly point out my level of assholedome is still not zero).., but I'm WAY better and kinder than I was.
- Kavanaugh, for all his (faults? Trouble?) is WAY THE FUCK better than many on Trumps list... and the DEMS have burnt up the "Oh, he tried to rape and kill me" card... Get ready for Trump and the REPS to push through their second choice - right the fuck down the DEMS throats now (if Kavanaugh becomes void).
But this gets blocked - every guy here (and it don't matter how whiteknighted, feminism-ass-kissing, liberal you are), better be ready to be homeless soon...
This isn't about a seat on the Supreme Court. This is about #MeToo. This is about "Women, by definition, are ALWAYS 100% truthful and men, by definition, are always 100% lying and GUILTY.
This is about "ANY woman can make ANY unsubstantiated claim on ANY man - get him fired - ruin his reputation - and there is nothing that will be done about it. ZERO RECOURSE.
Think about that - because every man here - is now at the full blackmailable servitude of every woman you could EVER be associated with... Fuck EVERY politician, they ALL lie...
If you're fighting over "should he be voted in" or "the results of his appointment" you're missing the entire battle.

First of all there is no rape involved in this and she confirmed it. Judge Kavanaugh was appointed and nominated for various positions even in the near past. How many months it is been since he was nominated by Trump for the SC? Where was she hiding until the last minute? No one is against a thorough investigation. If all the communists wanted was a thorough investigation, they could have done it without any publicity. But they wanted to destroy Kavanaugh. This is filthy politics and is disgusting.

I don't disagree that filthy politics is happening here. It always does. It always will. From both sides.
I only revealed that deeply personal story because a moronic comment was made about the length of time between the act and the accusation.

WHAT ^^^^The DALILAMA Quote Here's a timeline:
1982 - Something may or may not have happened with another 2 (or 4) teenagers at a party, she cannot remember who threw the party, where the party was held, who she was with or how she got home. She was drinking and said nothing to anyone.
1983,

2000,

2002... She said nothing.
July 25, 2003: President George W. Bush nominated Kavanaugh to the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C Circuit... She said nothing.
2004,
2005... She said nothing.
May 11, 2006: The United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary recommended confirmation. Kavanaugh subsequently confirmed by the United States Senate... She said nothing.
June 1, 2006: Kavanaugh sworn in by Justice Anthony Kennedy... She said nothing.
2007,
2008,
2009,
2010,

2013,
2014,
2015,
2016,
2017 - becomes an anti-trump activist.
2018 - now 36 years later, with Kavanaugh's SCOTUS confirmation looming, she pens an anonymous letter with grave accusations against Kavanaugh regarding foggy circumstance that occurred while they were both minors, then reveals herself and DEMANDS an FBI investigation before testifying to her incredible allegations?
Who does she think she is......Do you get the point?
He said she said at best ,the social justice warriors need to STFU and go away.
So yes people like her set woman back a lot just not believable Period

As theories go:
Actually his name was brought up by Mitt Romney back in 2012, the same year she "opened" up to a therapist. Sounds like she did not give a name during the session so who knows how long this set up has been in the works. Likely a stunt if Romney beat Obama.

....hmmm.
...you know, I went back and watched the 1994 film "Disclosure" again. It's funny how well that film covered this entire matter from every angle, gave every perspective, and showed the issues.
I was EXCEPTIONALLY taken back by the similarities shown by Demi Moore's very believable testimony, as she (in an injured little girl's voice) relayed the "facts" of the sexual assault encounter to the mediators; as it compared to Dr. Ford's.
You can watch it here for free

I would think a guy who practices law and defends clients would find it hard to condemn a man upon a 36 year old accusation of rape, with no physical evidence, can't even place a single witness at the scene. "victim" can't remember the time or the place exactly, and she never reported the incident for over 30 years.
Also, the accused denied it and did it several times under oath, and was investigated by the FBI.
Avenatti set back the #metoo movement worse than anyone, though.

Excellent reference. We have to defend the concept of innocent until proven guilty.

The end ("payback" for Merrick Garland) justifies the means (character assassination, subversion of due process, suspending all concepts of fairness).
Lawyers can justify anything. Especially dimotard lawyers.

Absolutely. That's what happens when you get in bed with a creepy porn lawyer.
He hurt their credibility so badly some dimotards are wondering if he was a Republican plant lol.

Him being called a Republican plant is my favorite final thrashing of that creep.
He ruined Dr. Ford by overplaying his lousy hand, but he didn't realize he made up too much stuff to be believed.
Avenatti is an annoying loser.

I agree.. Avenatti's ridiculous client took away from any possibility Ford would be believable. he seems to have slinked away the past week. what can he possibly say to redeem himself?

Nothing. He’s a two bit huckster. A publicity whore who is more interested in media coverage than his clients. The epitome of what a lawyer shouldn’t be. The sooner he crawls back under whatever rock he crawled out from, the better off we’ll all be. He has about as much class and integrity as Donald Trump — none.
