While the opposing teams often give the ball back as a souvenir, it’s doesn’t happen 100% of the time. And Maggi wasn’t brought up long term to begin with. He was going to be sent back.

On to more important news. The Pirates have the #1 pick in this years draft. Many scouts say Dylan Crews is the best prospect since Bryce Harper.

A lot of people did. Sold out in one day. Who knows, his card might be worth as much as a Hunter Biden painting!!!
Big series starting today with the Rays. Two best records in MLB. Who would’ve have guessed? Go Buccos!

This morning, Bob Pompiani talked about Nutting turning the 7th highest MLB profit last year with 4th from the bottom payroll.
That’s an owner that really values winning.

... And they WON this evening.
So we know the Pirates DO have money to spend.
And it surely would seem that the team managers
have gathered some young talent.
... Maybe it's time for the lot o' you "fans"
to hold barrack for yer team.

Seriously! One month of pretty good baseball is great, however this tight ass owner will still be here.
Any discussion about Pirate baseball has to include what most intelligent sports fans in western Pa know……that Bob Nutting is the worst owner in Pittsburgh pro sports history.

No, intelligent sports fans know Baldwin was the worst owner in Pittsburgh history, maybe in all professional sports history. He went bankrupt, didn’t pay Mario and we almost lost the Penguins. Nutting kept the Pirates here. It wasn’t long ago that they were a legitimate WS contender. And, Nutting is funding renovations at PNC to keep it one of the best parks in MLB

The Rooneys are going to hit the taxpayers to renovate the dump that they play in.

As did the Pirates hit the taxpayers to pay for most of PNC park. With the promise that a new park is what was needed to field a competitive team. The tax payers upheld their end of the bargain, the Pirates have not.
I guess if most people cared about hockey you might win your idiotic argument as to who is the worst of two evils. And your owner isn’t still here for Christ sake.

Pittsburghs a hockey town, so lots of people care about them. McClatchey was a worse owner than Nutting. The Pirates made the PO, 3 years under Nutting. So who’s being “idiotic”. But keep hurling insults, I’ll swat them away with facts.
