From the perspective of someone who has ran adult sites.... let me explain a couple of my issues with it.

Unless something has changed (I haven't logged out to test the theory), anyone perusing the web can waltz into coed and see what is posted. Even minors. While yes, I know that is also true of porn sites, most porn sites do have an intro page you have to get past to "certify" you are 18 or older. In addition, right now the board is operating in a very very grey area as far as 2257 goes.

Now personally, I've always been more of a partially clothed girl in my images... but that is by choice to leave more to the imagination. Restaurants use pictures of their plates to market their products! It's nice to be able to see what's on the menu before you actually order the item and chow down. Some of these restaurant pictures are well done, others not so well done and/or don't look appetizing!

I don't disagree with what you are saying. What I'm saying is that when you have a large, diverse crowd-- sometimes trying to "compete" takes over. He asked why some are concerned with it making the board "less classy". That's why.

The far bigger issue, in my opinion, is the fact that anyone can post a pussy pic now. You don't have to be a Verified Provider.. which makes it a lot harder to police whether or not the newbie poster who isn't yet verified is, in fact, of age. That is where the 2257 issue (along with a host of other issues) comes into play. If they really want to allow providers to post pussy-- they need to at least regulate it to those who are verified only-- since they now require age verification for those under 25... or those who appear under 25.
