My SO just told me the same thing. Not sure the source, and I’ve not seen anything else about it on X or elsewhere, so I won’t say it’s true until it is.

But…I may have posted it earlier in this thread, or commented elsewhere, there have been several signs (to me at least) that this could really be Jerry’s last season as GM. Hoping my spidey sense is right this time….

even if Jerrah does quit as GM he still owns the team. that's the real problem. Jerrah can't be a hands off owner, it's not in his nature.

let's say the cowgirls tank and miss the playoffs and Jerrah fires McCarty .. anyone think he'd hire Bill Belichick and give him complete control over the roster? Nope.
