I feel like that was not the correct conviction. Enshrined in the laws of self defense is the unmentioned fact that you who claims it cannot be the aggressor. In other words, if you act menacingly towards someone and they beat the crap out of you (assuming that is what happened), then the person beating you is defending himself, not the other way around. In this case, based on the verdict, they say Zimmerman followed, him, had a gun, TM was heading home, saw a man trailing him, decided to defend himself, and then died, and yet the guy trailing him is the innocent party. It seems to me that based on that Jury, in any fight, both parties can claim self defense, only the one who is dead will not be alive to claim it. That is a very very bad precedent and i hope this gets appealed and overturned somewhere. In either case, Zimmerman's life has been forever maimed by this incident. If i was him, i would go back to Mexico or some other place where i wont be watching my back 24/7.

And yeah, whose crazy idea was it to pack that Jury with white women? We already know white women are the most biased towards a black male. They could not find a black man or just a regular guy to join them? This too taints the verdict but it was predictable given who was deciding it.
