Add to this the cops getting a subpoena to your facebook account on simple prostitution is a reach.. I know of no judge in the tri counties area which would grant one on a common misdemeanor charge which what seeing or promotion is in the state on that level

Well, I was on FB...invited to the private groups by a really cool guy (verified here and thru P411). I didn't have an issue with anyone else's rates, a free market is good...definitely don't want anyone else regulating me and my rates, lol! But the concern I did have, and ultimately the reason why I abandoned the site, was safety.

Date-Check and P411 do at least some kind of background check (on everyone, ladies and gents) whereas on FB, anybody with access to the web can get an account.

Someone mentioned something above about the likelihood of the wrong person running into a bunch of hooker pics...well, it is very likely. Have you ever noticed the pop-up on the right hand side that suggests "People you may know"? Now, access to the groups is restricted but not to a profile...or who that persons "friends" are.

Which brings me to why I quit FB. Some random guy (no reviews, no references, etc.) sends me a friend request. I accept the request. I post an ad in "the group". Said random guy sends me a FB pm...without the info I asked for (references)...and it gets ignored. Then, said random guy posts ON MY AD "Where's YOUR credentials?" "Hey guys! This whore won't see me because I don't have Credentials! Fuck you!"

And maybe Pipefitter remembers this, because he did come back and tell the guy to get lost I can require whatever I want to meet someone.

So like I was saying, there's no difference between here and there, "us" and "them", lol! The difference that I do see, is in the quality of clients. No matter what site we met on, seems to me the client that pays 300 as opposed to 150 is more into ME than just getting his moneys worth. And I know this because I used to post on BP, and I used to have a lower rate. And FWIW, no pro took me under her wing and told me to raise my rates....it was my CLIENTS! Lol!

Great topic but all of the finger pointing and accusations is very uncalled for and immature in my opinion. I've known Pipefitter for a while now and know for a fact that he is not a pimp of any sorts and find that someone thinking that is actually pretty funny. He's a super nice guy who is always willing to help anyone out. Well I know for a fact BPD some years back had a few detectives get verified on both P411 and Date Check.. Having a cousin who at the time worked vice really came in handy.

But since he was transferred to that high crime group I have no idea if they have or are actually using that.

But if memory serves me correctly they had an informer who worked at one of the trucking companies in town and had it done through that person to verify employment ect.
