As the hobbyist formerly known as NormalBob, I killed the handle because after having done too much hobbying too fast, I had made enemies.

Not that I while using that handle hadn't ever fucked up. I had. But, I think some folks went head-hunting when it wasn't justified.

Over the final 6-7 months of using that handle, NormalBob was smeared in the Powder Room, had my real life information outed, had at least one person trying to hack my account, had someone call my employer leading to my termination, and had the ex-husband of a provider partner with other providers to try to blackmail me with my wife.


While this was going on, my dad was diagnosed with cancer.

Increasingly as I became sloppier in my hobby habits, my wife learned more and more. When the blackmail attempt started with the threat to tell my wife, I had a major sit-down and told her everything.

I offered her all our material goods and cash.

I was an admitted whore-monger who deeply hurt my wife, was unemployed, had a father dying, and had a daughter still dependent upon me for college.

I realized that my idealistic notions of who I had been dealing with were idiotic. In fact, I had been dealing with criminals and had become one myself. Less severely, I think one of two of my "buddies" were back stabbing me. Unless I was prepared to react vengefully, I realized I needed to quit digging a hole and discontinue being a target. "They" won.

In all the crap that surrounded me when I started my "sabbatical", positive things began to happen.

I spent my dad's final four months with him and we cleaned up a lot of issues between us. I was with my siblings when he died.

A week later I started a new job that paid better.

My wife forgave my actions and we are still married. She hasn't forgotten and our sex life is very bad. But, we are still together and recently enjoyed one daughter's wedding and another's college graduation.

We sold our house and left the state.

Life is good. I still get out occasionally but don't write reviews. I miss writing reviews, it was a great joy to get away from my work writing and get to be creative.

A few months ago I came into town and ran into OSD at the AC. He put me back in touch with Hunter. She introduced me to her sex swing. I highly recommend it but advise you to take the time to get the length from the ceiling exactly right, particularly if you don't have the knees of a younger man.

I enjoyed putting the Adventures of NormalBob to music. I admit leaving Rochester felt in part like an escape from a range of threats. As I get further away, it is easy to remember the good times and good people.

I disagree. I have stay on topic, as this is a tread about members that are missed.

As to your earlier question, I do miss lostforkate - much more than I would miss you if you were to leave.

Jack was one of the best mods we've had here, but I liked him more as a regular member on ASPD and here.

Pardon me, I didn't mean to imply you were hijacking the thread, but off the topic of our little banter. You don't need to miss lostforkate, because he, or she, I didn't know the handle, is here. Just open your eyes.

But it seems that banter has gone in a new direction I'll share with you, for I would not mind not being missed my a pathetic mod-wannabe with nothing better to do categorize Canadian reviews in a wannabe rockstard's repository. Did you save the wetwipe you used to clean Paulie's cum off your lips with? What an embarrassing waste of time, and display of inefficiency while you were at it. So I don't know what your problem is, but I'm sure it runs a lot deeper than me.
