And that is messed up because not all of us providers are like that... i have needed help in the past and I had a few guys that knew me well enough to pre pay for a session. I always honored those pre payed sessions asap. I will never forget those guys that helped me in my time of need.

I can see that. My statement was a bit too general in painting all providers with a broad brush. OBSG stated that another provider cut him off because he wouldn't lend her money due to the issue he had with Ms. Sweets. That provider that cut him off never saw him more than someone she could get money out of.
If I give anyone money, I never give more than I would be upset about losing, and I don't expect anything in return. Loans complicate things and cause people to avoid you.

I gave money to a girl that I knew and had seen several times. I knew that there was little chance I would see that money or a session (actually less than I gave her) in the future. I don't miss the money. I also discussed doing some work for me (business). Now, she is in a more desperate position. Now, all I can say, "you never paid me back, the last time". I ignore her texts. A person is only as good as their word. I keep mine and expect nothing less from others.

Generalities are exactly that.....generalities. They are called that because, generally speaking, it is foolish to pay providers in advance. There are of course, exceptions to the rule.
But it's generally a bad idea to pay anyone in advance for anything unless you know the other person or business well and they have a reputation for honoring their word.
I don't know of very many, if any providers, who would provide a session on the promise of being paid later. It would seem to me that they would run the same risk of being ripped off by the client, that the client would in paying for a future session.
Here is a good rule to follow.... If a provider asks for help and you decide to give it to them, consider it a gift for which you will expect nothing in return. That way you are not disappointed when she doesn't pay you back. Think of it in the same way you would lending money to a family member....or best friend. But you should always consider that if the other party doesn't come through, it does affect the nature of the relationship.

And that is tripe. All that attitude does is give someone an excuse to not keep their end of a bargain. One must always weigh the risks when loaning money. But a deal is still a deal. Not keeping it is wrong.
I may give a gift and never expect anything in return but a loan needs to be repaid and those that don't held accountable.
Of course in this case it was neither. It was payment for services never received.

I agree............but to take it a step further, on a personal note, I would not ever loan someone money, without some type of signed documentation that they know it is a loan, not a gift, and they will pay me back by a certain date. Depending on how you want to pursue it, you can go to small claims court and get your money back, as you have the borrower's signature as proof you loaned him/her the money and they agreed to pay you back.
In the hobby world, if you choose to loan a provider money, even tho she says or even signs a piece of paper that she will repay the money or give you a session at a later date, that does not mean anything and you are going to get burned, sooner or later, you have no recourse other than a he said/she said thread such as this one and she knows it. The OP, says he was being compassionate, and while there is no fault in that and it is very honorable, the fact is he has been in the hobby for a LONG time and should know better that 99% of providers, even females in the RW for that matter, are looking for gullible suckers with the wanting to be helpful mentality to pay their debts, buy them material items and who will fall for their empty promises.

You know DavidFree[removed other handles - GM] no one really cares what you have to say. Especially when it has nothing to do with the subject of a specific provider ripping someone off.
And in all my years, and all the time on this and other boards, and all the providers I have seem, this is the first provider I have ever posted about for something like this. Maybe I hang out with a classier level of women than you do here and in RL. Maybe that is why I don't have issues with YMMV you always are preaching about. I have loaned money and prepaid for sessions with providers in the past. I have never been cheated. Never. I guess I am a far better judge of character over all than you.
I know I sure was right from the beginning about who you are and your other handles and your, despicable past.

You do not want me posting my opinion on a thread, OBSG, then create your own private forum. You are just an obsessed stalker who has an agenda against me, with nothing to back up anything you say against me but your own assuming theories. You KNOW nothing about me. Instead of letting girls borrow money you will never see again, why don't you use that money and seek that professional help I have been encouraging you to get.

These situations are prone to destruction. All it takes is a shift in priorities from either party to make the other feel slighted and then a good thing gets flushed.
Want to help a lady out? GIVE her money.
Want an appointment? Get the appointment and pay her.
If a lady refuses to see a guy because he would not loan/give/donate her funds then he dodged a bullet.

When someone asks to borrow money, I expect it to be paid back. If I give someone something ...it's a gift and I never expect something in return.
Loans are business. Gifts are not.

I work too hard for my money, I will never loan money to ANYONE except immediate family members (which they will never need it). I have been asked for a loan by a real world friend $2K, one time another friend asked for $4K. I told them I am sorry but I can't (more that I didn't want to). If someone has a job and "consistently" in a financial hole, that means, they have bad money management or consistently make bad life decisions….meaning you will never see that money back. You shouldn't expect it back.

When it comes to loaning money to providers, I'm reminded of a phrase regarding attorneys.
"A lawyer who represents himself, has a fool for a client"
Using that logic in the hobby world....
If you loan money to a provider and expect to get paid back, you've just identified yourself as a chump.
There have been multiple threads on this forum illustrating just how foolish it is. Some people never learn however.
I had a situation about 2 years ago, where I loaned money to a provider. She did everything she could to avoid paying me. It was only after I threatened to out her here on the forum that she found a way to pay me back. Even still....I consider myself fortunate that I was able to get my money back.
For me, it was lesson learned. That's why I say that any money loaned to a provider should be considered a gift....... if you expect to keep your sanity.
Same thing goes for a provider who gives a session on a "promise to pay". She should expect it to end up being a free session.
Human nature is human nature. It is what it is.
(I would apply the same principle to loans to family or friends)
Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
There are quite a number of insane people on this forum.
