So now we know that Dick Cheney put his life on the line by waiting 20 months for a new heart. He could have moved himself up on the list but declined. How does that compare to a Kennedy who uses his addictions as an excuse for bad behavior and then insists that he go immediately for help? Or a Gore? Dick Cheney is the patriot here and has balls.

There is a lot of discussion going on at this moment that Cheney should not have had that heart.
He should have been disqualified because of his age. Normally this procedure is NOT DONE AT ALL for people his age.
Some guy in his 50ties is now probably going to die because of him.
Thanks Cheney! Once a jerk, always a jerk. (But that's nothing new)

Oh and since when is there a waiting line for addictions?

I wouldn't want my heart to go to someone who never had a heart in the first place.

How could I peacefully be dead when I knew that some diehard republican would be walking around with my heart or using my dick?
