Doesn't look like it is. The pictures in Google Street View of the area date to July of last year, and at that time the property that appears to be the old Platinum Plus was fenced in and posted as being for sale. Though I suppose that it might have been sold and redeveloped as a church in the intervening 6-7 months--I haven't had reason to be in that area since... well... my last trip to Platinum Plus, as far as I remember.

I haven't verified it because I have no other reason to be in that area either but I had a friend tell me it was razed to the ground. The Purple church is no more.

There will never be anything like PP close by ever again. Dallas is fun but PP was Sodom and Gomorrah some nights.

All of Memphis used to be fun but the city clamped down on it and set new rules that just made them not worth operating. Platinum was just the mecca.

Fun fact...or just a fact (fun is subjective)

I don't like talking. It freaks me out. Now I will talk your head off about saddlebags (just ask the guy that refuse to see me now because I talked about saddlebags for 30 minutes).

But anyway, I don't like talking that much unless I'm comfortable with you. Some guys, I'm right there engaged in conversation as soon as you walk in the door. Others, it may take a few dates or it may never happen. If you want a talker, it's not me. I won't spend an hour talking then try to convince you to book another hour just for you to finish.
